Personally, I would like to be given the option between 1940 Sea Lion and Greece. And I agree that it would be nice after a decisive victory to be able to choose the decisive or marginal branch. While I feel a 1940 Sea Lion is a credible alternate history timeline. I'm not so sure about a 1942 Sea Lion, and most certainly don't believe it's credible after a successful (though marginal victory) 1940 Sea Lion. Also, do I feel that an invasion of the US East Coast was even remotely possible in WW2.

By the way, do you know if it's possible to edit the decision tree, or is that hardcoded?

We seem to be in agreement here.

I looked at this tree just before I was about to attack Moscow and all my energy to continue evaporated. I suppose I will do so sometime but at the moment I lack the motivation.

I have no idea if it is possible to edit the decision tree.

After a bit of tinkering I think I may have found a way to force the decision branch to go the direction that you want. It’s very klugy but it appears to have promise. Let me demonstrate. After my decisive victory in Fall Rot (three campaigns ago), the game took me to Sea Lion 1940. However; if I’d had a choice I would have opted for Greece.

I found a way to force Greece instead of Sea Lion 1940. Now what I did would also force Greece instead of Sea Lion 1942. Or force any campaign instead of the one choose by the program. However; in doing so you may have to manually configure every branch thereafter.

So instead of Sea Lion 1940, I can fight Greece 1941. Though, I need to do some testing to see where the game will take me after this campaign. How did I do this? Well, I need to go right now but will post what I did later this evening. However, it’s very klugy and involves copying and renaming data files. And, I’m not sure what will happened after this campaign.

Here’s how I did it. But, I’m going to do it differently this time branching from my last campaign (Rush to Moscow) to one that I want to play.

That didn’t work? I must not have the package that includes Torch. Let’ give the Italy scenario a try.
