My "BUM RUSH" Has taken out a Stug a MkIV and wounded a Panther guarding the north side of the Bridge. XXX Corps with the support of the American Airborne are only a couple hexes away from the north end...

My men hoist up the flag over the Town!!! There are a couple of dispersed units still around...so we will commence with the mopping up.

Nijmengen Bridge: We are preparing for the enevitable show down.......We have heavy smoke conditions in and around the bridge. Allies are preparing another assualt.

Poles: Continue to fight me tooth and nail. Now that Oosterbeek battle is over ......REinfocements are on the way!!!!

Nijmengen Bridge: I dig in at my bridgehead as I spot Panthers and MkIVs heading that way....Chit! :mad:

XXX Corps is in shambles from taking Nijmengen Bridge, I hope the Germans are as in bad shape as I am...Turn 30 of 60! will it last that long???

Status: offline 		The Battle for Nijmengen (after 31 turns!!) is over..XXX corps after the long long road to Nijmengen is worn out....

"THE ISLAND" is a long twisty swamp flanked road leading from Nijmengen to Armhem....this is the area Hawks SS wiped out my Poles. I only hope the Poles death will be justified as American Paras and the British start the crawl up the Island..

The Second Battle for Arnhem can only start after I clear the Island...

Great Fun indeed! and to think...only 29 turns to go!

This battle goes on my all time FUN list...good job Hawk!!!
We have made it 1/2 way!

Status: offline 		My Scouts have seen numerous troops crossing Nijmengen Bridge....:( We have sent HQ numerous messages asking for reinforcements.......I hope they will make it in time.....:( :( :( :(
