Status: offline 		A Soviet MIL is railmoved to Kirov. A MOT division is railmoved out of Siberia back to Kuybishev. The Iraqi partisan moves to the next oilfield: Kirkuk... The Soviets improve their positions. For the moment they are pretty confident that the front will hold, because the Luftwaffe is far behind the Axis frontlines:

Japan takes a naval action, Germany and Italy take land actions.

Japanese submarines enter the Tasman Sea and search for the merchantmen. Axis roll 7, Allies 5...

Japanese cruisers enter the New Zealand coast to raid the shipping lines. Again, the ocean proves to be a big place (Axis roll 6 and Allies roll 5).

The US admiral (that's me) made a little (?) mistake. I should never have sailed the US CV's and their escorts into a sea area experiencing storm. Fool of a …. Well, it's too late to change that now and Yamamoto orders an awful lot of warships to enter the Bay of Bengal, hoping to get the big guns of the BB's into action. Axis roll 2, Allies roll 6:

In the South China Sea, the Japanese restores the convoy chain, heavily escorted by cruisers. The allied submarines want to kill move merchantmen. Both sides roll a three. The submarines are found by Japanese cruisers, which are escorting CV's:

Status: offline 		Attrition favours the Allies, so they elect to stay. Of course the Japanese don't leave the sea area also. However, it's a big ocean again (Allies roll 5, Axis roll 9).

Germany rails units to Egypt and Morocco/Spain. The Wehrmacht moves slowly to the East in the USSR. Von Leeb gets orders to take Archangel. Positions in Morocco and Egypt are improved. Guderian gets orders to provide supply so that a German INF can get rid of that nasty Iraqi partisan. Combined Italian, Persian and Iraqi forces move slowly towards the Soviet border city of Ashqabad. The Luftwaffe rebases FTR's towards the east in the USSR and planes are rebased towards Egypt. An Italian TRS transport a PARA towards Leningrad.

The Kazan factory is railmoved to Siberia. Some improvements are made on the Soviet positions. If there will be a real Russian winter this time, the Soviets might still survive. It's a good thing the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe are out of position to attack the frontlines:

Status: offline 		In Australia, McArthur arrives and the Australian army starts moving towards the east. The main problem for both sides here is that they are lacking sufficient numbers of units to attack. Also: their is very few air units available for this region:

Status: offline 		The emptiness of Siberia and Manchuria after the Soviet withdrawal. Almost all Soviet units there have been railed to the west, leavng Eastern Siberia to the Japanese. That was a hard decision to take, but the survival of the USSR depends on the defense of the Ural region. The USSR lacks land units to defend both area's...

All Axis powers take land actions.

Umezu moves westward in Manchuria. Japanese units capture Ulan-Bator and Khabarovsk. Hong-Kong is taken by the Japanese too (I should have done this earlier, but I tended to forget about the place. Yamashita moves inland on the railroad from Darwin. More and more the Japanese realise, that they lack the power necessary to make good odds attacks on the CW in Birma. The units are spreadout throughout the Pacific area, garrisoning important places agains partisans. The Japanese simply lack manpower to stage a good offensive. Fast troops are put ashore in Darwin and a garrison is unloaded in Port Moresby. Japanese Marines invasde the Dampier Archipelago of the coast of West Australia:

Day after day, horses, man on foot, equipment, food, supplies are marching over roads full of dust in the hot summer weather across a country in which all houses, farms, factories, railwaystations and buildings are burned to the ground. Many soldiers in the “Ostheer” haven't fired a gun or a rifle in more than half a year now and they are still marching towards an evading and invisible enemy over the long empty Russian plains:

The USSR takes a naval action (why not. The defensive line is in place and the Soviet navy and submarines are rotting in port. So lets use them). The CW takes a combined action, France passes and the US takes a land action.

The last Soviet cruiser in Leningrad sails, together with the submarines. They search for the Axis merchantmen. The Luftwaffe reacts on reports from Abwehr by flying the He 115 Flying boat as convoy escort. Allies and Axis both roll a four. Germany chooses a naval air combat. The Soviets use their surprise points to decrease damage:

Status: offline 		Again, both sides stay in the sea area. Allies roll 5, Axis 6. This time the Soviets choose a surface battle. They abort another convoy point with no losses on their side. Both sides decide to stay. However, contact with the enemy was lost (Allies roll 9, Axis 4).

Germany and Japan take a land actions, Italy takes a naval action.

An Italian NAV flies into the Red Sea. An Italian SUB enters the Central Atlantic and searches for the Allied ships. However, the rough seas prevent a possible slaughter among the Allied convoys (Axis 3, Allies 10). The Italian fleet eners the Red Sea and searches for the CW ships there. The Allies react by sending the Typhoon in the Sea are. However, even the narrow Red Sea proves to be an area where you can't find the enemy (Axis roll 6, Allies roll 8).

Status: offline 		The first German troops arrive at the gates of Archangel. The German army is still marching east, as fast as it can. Days and days and days of marching. Suddenly, Soviet positions force the tanks, trucks and men to stop. The generals order the forces to start the building of the necessary airfields for the Luftwaffe, The weather report for the next couple of impulses is a 1, making fine weather througout the globe.

Status: offline 		After some thinking, the Soviets decide not to attack the lone ARM in the woods. The reason for this is that the long range Stuka might be able to provide ground support (even if it gets intercepted by Soviet FTR's). If this attack would be done and fails, it could mean the total collapse of the Soviet front, without any reserves available to them. Yeremenko and Vatutin reorganises all disorganised unit (planes and divisions):

Status: offline 		In Morocco, both sides are incapable of attack. The moment any attack here fails, is the moment that the opposing side gets an advantage which can be used to crush the enemy lines. So it's somewhat like a WW I battlefield at the moment. Both sides will continue to pour more troops and planes into the region, untill one side has enough reserves build up to be able to absorp losses:

Such a stalemate also exist around the Red Sea. The Allies force the Axis to relocate units from the USSR to this front too. The Axis can't affort to lose control over either the Suez Canal or the Straits of Gibraltar:
