Here you can see the destruction of Honshu. Industry is trashed...

What is left of Japan's armored forces. Supply gone pretty much. I would move the tanks in and out to get them supplies.

What was left of most of my bombers and transports...flying supplies in to Honshu from Korea/Manchuko.

About 50 transports were flying troops around in China...

Remaining subs, most were transporting supplies.

About 4 were taking supplies to Honshu from Manchuko during December. Prior all supply was shipped to China.

Actually helped quite a bit since fuel was never a concern.

End war the subs were also used to lay minefields, especially wherever CD guns were.

Troop transports...boy are these guys important, and I tended to really waste them early in the game.

Reader awards:

MVP Poster goes to Lokasenna. I think he made the first post and was with me to the bitter end, always looking at the game very differently than me. I should have listened to him more.

Prophet of Doom Award goes to NY59Giants. Always ready with posts of upcoming apocalyptic Allied strength or to make fun of me. Should have listened to him more too!

Eye Opener Award goes to Alfred. Boy, his posts goes to show how little I know and always opened my eyes to tactics, strategy, game mechanics and insights! I can't tell you many times I re-read his posts.

Honorable Mention: Obvert. Always helpful with insights of having been there and done that.

For all the many posters no slight is intended. Too many to mention here but special extra thanks to M-M, Witpqs, BB, Andav, Wargamer, NJP, Spidery, Mr. Kane and everyone else.

What a great community!

If you are wondering why there are so many tracker screenshots, after the game ended, I couldn't save...so I need to watch the replay all over again for the last day screenshots and I have been too lazy to do that.

I will turn off combat summaries and let the computer churn through the turn while I do something else and get some screenshots for you later. Perhaps choosing a different button on the VP screen will allow me to save the end game turn.

Yes, I know they are NOT nuke powered, but I need to keep up my image... doom and gloom!

Well, I got Grace in December as a counter but couldn't build any. My fault.

But... I didn't tell you not to do the one thing that I think doomed you faster than otherwise (IIRC you did something like a reenactment of the Battle of the Philippine Sea?). I think I was kind of checked out during that whole period.

There goes my daily dose of feeling good.

Now how will I maintain morale when I can't go "At least I'm doing better than Lowpe"...?

Congrats on getting so far. When I saw the initial dispositions of this game I didn't think you'd manage to drag it out so long! Probably just as well our downfall game didn't pan out!
