There was an analysis along those lines in the Millenium Annual. Have to dig it up.. but I remember that the Axis did ridiculously good in comparison to historical distribution. Historical breakdown is like: GE: 0, IT: 0, JP: 9 CH: 1, CW: 22, FR: 5, US: 15, SU: 15 In games where the Allies win, CW's prospect are still very good, but I have also seen and pulled SU landslides. SU landslide depends much on 1) options, 2) CLion attempts (and failures) and 3) WAlly convoy misery(BoA). I have never played competitively (seems thats where it matters), but I think the bidding system is reasonable. It might favor the smaller Axis MP a little.
