May 3, 1942 INDIAN OCEAN: The British attack Diego with a strong SCTF, while the CVs cover from 5 hexes NW of Diego. At night the enemy sinks 2 PBs delivering mines. Then they tangled with 2 CLs and 4 DDs of mine... Sendai is sunk while Exeter damaged by a torp. The Brits go on and bomb Diego (4 planes destroyed on the ground). When the day arrives, the Exeter is caught by my KB2 and sunk, while the american carriers attack my second TF (that didn't arrive in time at Diego to tangle with the enemy's cruisers)... 2 CLs and 2 DDs damaged, but 11 Wildcats shot down. At the end of the day, the battle is over...A japanese minor defeat probably, but i think next time he'll get back he'll find some suprises here (arriving Air HQ, Kates and Vals, 3 AA units and several infantry units...).
