Just curious...I know there was a new release of the Community Scenario Pack a couple of weeks ago. How many scenarios are "officially released" at this point, including the Northern Inferno ones? I know it doesn't really matter whether its 305 or 311 or some other number, but I like knowing the total count. Thanks.

FYI...in case anyone cares...I did some counting and, as far as I can tell, including the fifteen for Northern Inferno, there are now 327 released scenarios.

A quick recount including what is available on Steam. If I am counting correctly, including tutorials, Northern Inferno, etc. there are now 346 released scenarios, including beta scenarios available via the Steam Workshop. (This is based on 40 standalone scenarios and 8 tutorials released with the game, 15 scenarios for Northern Inferno, and 283 listed on the Steam Workshop page.) Hooray!

As a newbie I think the community pack is amazing. So great to have all these scenarios to try out. However I just wish people would take a little more time with the description/briefing. All the official scenarios lay out exactly what sides are involved and who is playable in the header. It'd be awesome if more people would add that into their missions just so people can see at a quick glance what forces they can play as.

Honestly for a game that does take a little more imagination to play, the briefings (in my opinion) are just as important as the actual content of the mission.

yes indeed... i do agree with all your comments...

dear yokes.... i really appreciate your effort and many of this series of scenarios... though in some i feel the authors thinking is at times questionable....

i would like to appeal to you to prefix this series so i and others could easily gather them together... you have made a bunch of them now... kinda of like gunner does with nothern fury....
like TWTNW.. might be good.. its short and the eye can catch it quickly....

i just downloaded a couple here and going to check them out now....

Hey Magi,

I am planning on packaging them together into a campaign once I am done. That way they will all be together. I need to finish them first...

I was just looking over your "Frigate Duel in the Scotia Sea" scenario. I am fairly new to CMANO, but was involved with Harpoon since the beginning, so I'm not new to such computer simulations. I noticed some strange behavior for the Argentine LCS during one of my testing sessions - just testing platform capabilities. I wanted to watch the AI behavior, so I parked a U.S. E3-G AWACS about 10 miles behind the Argentine and just followed it to look at surface to surface detection without using God mode. What was strange is that the LCS itself would disappear for minutes on end - despite a functional E3 Sentry 10 miles away. Helos could be seen taking off and landing, but no LCS! The ship was still there if I selected God mode or changed sides.

I know there is a teleport function in the editor, but I was curious if this was something you intended for the Argentine ship or just a bug. I'm running the latest database and beta program version. Maybe there is a "cloaking" feature ala Star Trek? :)

The LCS does not teleport in that scenario. I'm guessing it is a combination of the LCS being stealthy and the fact that the scenario is set during pretty awful weather.

FYI...sorry I took so long to respond...normally, this thread is only for posting scenarios. If you want to be sure your questions get seen, the best place to post them is usually in the discussion thread for the specific scenario, or to create a new thread, even after the final version is posted (after all, a new final version can always be posted if an error is spotted).

Updated, the original upload has been deleted to avoid multiple versions of the scenario. Please include the enclosed attachment Target List.rtf with the next iteration of the Community Scenarios. Thanks.

Northern Fury 10.2 - fixed the ref point error msgs. 10.3 & 10.4 are fine, will get to the rest in the next few days.

My concern on this one is the MAC airlift flights may behave a bit odd as I had to reduce a No-Nav zone significantly, it was keeping them clear of hostile airspace
