The DPRK chooses to use the 2021 Presidential Inauguration and American internal dissention to launch an invasion of the ROK, but first they must use their nuclear weapons to destroy the American conventional war making capability on Guam and Okinawa. Your mission is to pre-empt them!

IF the NKPA Missiles fly the scenario may slow down briefly, it looks like the game is locked up but it's just performing a huge amount of calculations. Your patience will be rewarded. The USN/JMSDF RIM-161C/E SM-3 SAMs have to be manually launched.

This IS NOT an update of the previous Korean Missile Crisis scenario from Chains of War.

Brought up to the latest C:MO Build, and a few tweaks to the Syrian A/I missions. Some of the Syrian CAP/AAW aircraft moved to an Alert Mission restricted to the Bekaa/Beqaa Valley as it's furthest west range (45 nm). Adjusted the USN F-14 loadouts from Heavy to light Bar CAP.

INI and Delta files are provided for rebuilds

There is actually a play test section below the "Stickied Posts" for posting scenarios still in play test status. So most designers post their new works there for feedback and then post in this thread it is ready for inclusion in the Community Service Pack.

Brought it up to C:MO standards with new database and Submarine Comms. Also added some teleports for more randomness and replay value. Adjusted AI missions a bit.

Great scenario but I wonder whether your aware of the 'real fish wars' during the Cold War era
namely The Cod Wars between Britain and Iceland, the most serious of which was the
Third Cod War 1975-1976.

The Third Cod War (November 1975 – June 1976) began after Iceland began extending its fishing limits,
to 200 nmi (370 km) from 50 nmi from its coast.
The UK & a number of European fishing nations didn't recognise the large increase to the exclusion
zone and so an issue occurred with British fishermen and their activity in the disputed area.

It was at this time that Iceland came the closest from withdrawing from NATO and expelling
US troops, particularly it's airbase at Keflavik with all the implications that would have
had on SOSUS and maintaining the defence of the GIUK gap from the Soviet navy & submarine
threat.
Iceland did break off diplomatic relations with the UK on the 19th February 1976 at the height
of the Third Cod War.

Britain deployed a total of 22 frigates and ordered the reactivation from reserve of the Type 41
frigate HMS Jaguar and Type 61 HMS Lincoln, refitting them as specialist ramming craft with
reinforced wooden bows.
In addition to the frigates, the British also deployed a total of seven supply ships, nine
tugboats and three support ships to protect its fishing trawlers.

Hypothetical U.S. - Libyan Clash before the March 1986 confrontation. Loosely based on the GDW Harpoon Scenario, but with more threats. Built for some randomness. A short and hopefully fun scenario.

A short look at the disastrous USN Airstrike on Syrian AAA Positions along the Beirut-Damascus Highway in December 1983. Two USN aircraft were lost with Lt. Goodman captured and held for 30 days and his pilot killed. Can you do better?
