The Scenario Design forum is a forum dedicated to mission design and ideas. It's easy to begin building missions using the in-game editor, and we hope everyone will give it a try.

I love BA2 but I was disappointed by the small number of campaigns. No Battle of Kiev? No Fall Blau and Stalingrad? Uranus? Warsaw '44? Berlin????? I played the Beta but had assumed that the final release would contain much more content.

Also I think that a focus on battles of decision would be better. The partisan operations are fun, but they are a side show, often a bit slow moving, and the engine is best exploited for depicting large sweeping tank engagements and assaults on defensive lines, IMHO.

On the other hand, I find the urban scenarios a tad large and difficult to see; the buildings hide my units from me. I would go for smaller urban scenarios (e.g. a couple of infantry platoons and one tank) and focus on one or two key buildings, such as the Commissar's House or a key bridge, 5-10 turns max...

I've started playing around with the editor. Not sure if I will ever have the time to build a full campaign, but I do hope someone does, or that these are supplied as add-ons or (better still) in a patch! Ideas include:

- A historical campaign that follows one Panzer Div or one Tank Div through the course of the war.
- AGN, AGC and AGS 1941 campaigns
- Fall Blau to Stalingrad
- Uranus
- Operation Mars
- Warsaw to Berlin
- Sevastopol 1942
- Soviet invasion of the Kerch Pen.

I made a first stab at creating a new campaign scenario but there's no editing manual. I have some initial questions:
1. How do I add victory locations?
2. How do I set the player's side? It seems to default to Soviets...?
3. Can I create different AI plans?
4. How do I code events?

very quiet here and I don't see many user scenarios or campaigns appearing, which is surprising... I think the game engine is excellent.
