I had a problem placing my order. After filling out the credit-card info I got the following error after clicking "Finish": FDR_Authorization.Authorization error '8000ffff' Catastrophic failure /TransFiles/sale_inc.asp, line 1446 The card does have sufficient funds and the card info is accurate. Any ideas ? I'd tried more than once (the system has remembered my name, but still crashes with the credit card info).

Oh matrix team, try to found a less expensive way to send this to overseas... Really to pay 72 USD, when your work only cost 20 is too expensive. :(

Originally posted by Resisti: Global Express cost for delivery in Europe: Italy,Germany,France,Belgium,U.K. : 44 USD Spain,Portugal,Finland : 52 USD this provided the envelope's weight doesnt exceed 1lb Sincerely speaking I'm not really enclined to pay more than twice the cd cost to US post service, while I'd really be keen to pay the 20 dollars to Matrix (sincerely, you guys, deserve even more than that...). So here my questions to Matrix: -how's the weight of a cd ? -are you sure there's no other way to have it shipped at a cheaper cost ? (normal airmail or something) -is it possible to have the cd "free delivered Matrix",if we find the way to come and pick it up paying less ? Last possibility(this is not involving Matrix, anyway):as somebody already suggested in another thread, some cumulative orders could be placed by 1 person or two for people living in the same country, cause most probably the costs for internal redistribution are much lower than to get each of us 1 cd shipped from USA.
Hi I have found some cheaper services from the US Post Office. We decided not to ship anything that the customer or us could not track via a web site. We had such a lot of problems with this just in beta testing. I am going to talk some of the other people and see what they are doing.

Please check out the shipping costs now see if that helps. If it was just the Mega Campaign I could see considering to make a download version. But you will need to have all of SPWaW v5.0 as well.

I sympathize with the folks on the other side of the Atlantic, postage to Canada (if the package is not over a pound) will cost $36 U.S.D.

Come on guys, please find a way to lower the shipping costs. I'm just a student and 52 USD is a little bit of money for me to be wasted just for shipping. :( :( :( :(

I seem to be feeling a little bit special, here. I had no trouble going through the ordering process (although ordering when there were no replies in this thread probably helped :)), and I'm pretty happy with the cost of shipping to Australia - about $23 USD. This puts it at about the same price as an off-the-shelf game - around $80 to $90 AUD. Of course, this doesn't include import duty/taxes/whatever, but I don't think that'll be outrageous, since they're not taxing the shipping... All in all, I'm way happy, and probably not going to sleep much in the next month or so (3 weeks of continuous waiting, 1 week of continuous eating sand). Thanks to all involved!

excuse me david, you will seperate spwaw 5.0 in any case, for the free download of it. so where is the problem to offer the Mega Campain as an download, for the people from europe. and maybe the is a way to integrate a registration, so that erveryone can download the Mega Campain, but have to pay(creditcard) for the registrationcode. think about, please. stutzkalter

Its just not practical to have folks download the whole v5 game AND the 50+ MB Mega Campaign. 400+ MB!?! The big thing we learned from the problems folks have had downloading SP:WaW is that we WON:T try to go through that mess with paying customers we would spend our time dealing with "insert disk 2" issues and never design any games. The last game company that tried that method went out of business in about a month.

There will be both an upgrade (From ver 4.X) (~50MB) and the complete game (still about 350MB).

To the Matrix team, I'm starting to understand the headaches involved in dealing with a multinational customer base. I gotta order with a personal check, with all the attendant ordering delays, but I know I'll be getting a great product at a reasonable cost. To the overseas fans, all I can tell you as a Matrix fan is that these guys are doing the best they can to minimize shipping costs for you, but we're all still trying to adjust to a global business environment, and there's still a few hurdles to be crossed. We ALL, as wargaming fans, have a vested interest in seeing companies like Matrix succeed in a world dominated by too-big-for-our-own-good corporations. Try to be patient, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

David, Paul, I sent several copies of ver 4.* overseas via airmail for less than $5 each. All seemed to arrive OK. If you can't come up with a cheaper shipping solution, maybe some of us guys stateside could order the cd;s and then resell/ship them to the overseas guys. This would take it out of you hands as far as having to deal with the tracking problem. Of course this brings up the question of how we would get paid (money orders?). I would be willing to try this if I not stepping on anyones toes or breaking the law. Bascom
