Cagayan had good supply and aviation support and a level 6 AF so that should have worked. Probably cold feet or the weather.

Maybe they got cold feet because of the weather. After all, it is in March and it is still winter.

The infantry at Clark. Both 31st IR and 4th Marine started drawing '43 infantry squads, which is helpful. The tank units not destroyed are drawing Shermans and TD units '43 equipment as well.

We are eventually going to run out of supply. I don't think they can last till sometime in July when we might have enough carriers to send in a rescue mission.

Finally, the heavies at Cagayan take off and we lay some lumber on Manila AF. What made this possible was the diversion of Japanese air power to cover a possible landing on Sumatra. Well coordinated raid from 3 different bases on Mindanao plus fighters coming from Bataan. I am impressed
