Jap defense of Boela has stymied the push toward Mindanao via the Banda Sea. The reduction of of Rabaul and New Ireland now permits pushing up the North coast of New Guinea. I started troops prepping for Yap, Wolei, Beazelbob and Truk.

Manus open for the taking? MacArthur really liked getting that one on the cheap. What has JJ got there?

Manus did make a nice naval base. The problem was though that the 7th Fleet messages had to go through Manus to get to the 3rd Fleet. They arrived out of sequence. Then the Yamato and friends showed up at Leyte Gulf. Of course, no player would let the DS run after enemy aircraft carriers . . .

Well, I'm at the secret HQ bunker. I had severe body aches and headache and nausea so they put me on lockdown even though the fast antigen test was negative. I seem to be getting better so perhaps I don't have...you know...IT.

Might just be some bad oysters. I only had two and SG slurped down 4 but she's fine. Go figure. You figure at $20 for 6 they would be free of Vibrio. If I am already getting better and I DON'T have ...it...I am going to be really angry.

By ra way, Little Italy in San Diego is super cool right now. They closed off about 4 blocks to cars and pushed all the restaurants out into the street. Lights over the street. They moved most of the homeless guys with their hepatitis A down a couple of blocks. You do have to order food to get a drink. A bit too crowded in places to keep Dr Fauci happy

Then the lucky bastards move 160 miles and happen upon a hapless AKL on a slightly different. In fairness, they might have been set on "react". This is the downside of sending unguarded trannies right past Jap bases. Some times they draw too much attention to the themselves

No, respiratory symptoms are very mild. Maybe I just swallowed the damn thing down my gullet without breathing. Sure knocked the stuffing out of me. By 5 PM I am ready for a nap. I tried to have a G&T. 4 oz later I was lying on the couch drooling for 2 hrs. like I had roofied myself. Could be Vibrio or Disney Princess cruise ship virus.

Japs drop more of 1st Raiding Rgt on Biak and bring most of Yokosuka 3rd SNLF over by seaplane, I imagine. I started 4th USMC Raider Bn toward Biak by AP but called it off after getting a feeling they would send a SCTF down from Beazelbob. Some CB's get caught in the craossfire

Pakse, in Laos. Worrisomely massive Jap attack at Pakse. We hold but they have 3 full divisions. Some Allied units are partial because they flew in by air transport. The heavy equipment had to be hauled all the way over from Moulmein. Should be there in 1 -2 weeks
