The IJN cruisers begin to retire down the West coast of Sumatra but run into the RN escort force for the trannies. Fortunately, it is a daytime battle so we don't get Rong Ranced. Looks like we win this and the trannies are safe. Annoyingly, the dive bombers at Sinabang don't attack the IJN cruisers not 40 miles away. I think it was an air search problem. Too bad. quote:
