China: Very effective air attacks on the Jap ground troops at Neikiang (NW of Chungking). If we can take Neikiang, the supply route to Chungking from Tsuyung will be shortened. Supply situation in Chungking went up by 2500 tons in one day. Some is from stepped up air flights from Ledo but some is clearly overland.

I moved some Canadian Hurris over to Chungking now that supply is improved. Nice ambush.

Nice air ambush at Kunming too. The routine is move in some juicy C-47's and take OUT the fighters...allow the Japs to recon the place and then the next turn move all the C-47s to Ledo or Chungking and move some fighters in.

Of course, they will eventually get wise to this.

Reminds of a trick they played in North Africa. They would build a dummy airfield and completly black it out at night and leave a couple of lights on at the real one. The fake one would get bombed.

New Guinea/Sundas: Allies reinforcing and resupplying Dobo, Kai-elanden, and Taberfane. Covered by a cruiser force and PT boats. No air or surface attacks. Boela and Sorong getting reinforced by air and submarine. 181st RCT flying in to Boela with orders to walk over to Ambon. It's a long walk.

So I am on call Saturday and the electronic medical record is FUBAR and nobody is getting their prescriptions sent in electronically so I spend 4 hrs making f****** phone calls on 12 doctors Rx's and I can't even drive to the hospital without getting 10 f****** phone calls so I get off the freeway to use the live EMR and my f****** office door is closed so I walk over to the urgent care (most of the people there I have known at least for a decade AND I have my hospital badge on) so I grab myself 20 ml of Mylanta and sit down to make some f****** phone calls and use the EMR. 40 minutes later I work through the calls and head over to the hospital (minus the heartburn).....and then on Monday an adminstrator comes down and gives me **** over the f***** Mylanta and using the f****** wall outlets to charge my f****** phone which I need to answer the f****** phone calls because their f****** electronic record is not working.

I gave her a quarter for the Mylanta and told her to fix her f****** computer system. I'm sending a 4 figure bill for wasting my time on call AND I am going to make a quality complaint because it absolutely impaired patient care. You know what the plan is when the system is malfunctioning? They send us a f****** email on the system that is not working? Nice f****** plan! A f****** public school system 3rd grader could do better.

Congratulations! Your post is only 239 obscenities behind Pulp Fiction! And you did it without Samuel L!

FYI, I understand that most hospital systems still use MUMPS, a 50 year old computer language.

It is not the fall, it is that sudden stop at the end.

Learn to call Bingo without using a sound system and/or have a Drill Sergeant teach you how to project you voice. Then let the entire hospital know how stupid the admnistrator is. Even the hard of hearing should hear you.

Can you self-report the hospital's poor patient care to Medicare/Medicaid? Whistleblower cases can be very lucrative.

Nah, it's a medical group not hospital thing.

The thing that frosts me the most is the stupid generic mylanta. I probably used about 1.5 cents worth. I was President of the organization for 8 years and signed a bunch of big-ass checks and paid for dozens of 400 guest Christmas parties and some chowderhead complaints about generic mylanta.

Next year no Salsa DJ. I will advocate for a Lawrence Welk cover band.

It will help if you put that admin's name on the memo announcing the party cutbacks as, say, "in line with Frau Blucher's program..."

Or you could put ex-lax in the punch.

Make her fudge brownies with ex-lax instead of chocolate. One of my step-mother's classmates did that for the teacher. The teacher never picked on her again for her lack of stature. The girl never got into trouble for doing that. Of course, her daddy was the chief of police who was also short.

Yes, same thing happened to one of the General MacArthur's in From Here, Well It SEEMS Like an Eternity (I think)

And the poor bastard was aloft in a B-25 at the time. Nasty business. Bad news for the tail gunner too.
