There are several super squadrons with super elite pilots, as well as super elite ships.

You are just now going to see what the AI is shooting for as it is cleaning up the normal historical capture of the SRA.

I think the other shoe should drop by the end of the April. Heads up, or it will hit you hard.

You should be comfortable starting offensive actions in 1944 I think.

Heads up - where? ;)

Here's an example of the pilots you're likely up against:

Very nice. But once the initial lineup of these superheroes is done and over with, the replacements only have 55XP or so, right?

April 6, 1942:

Several blitzed turns as 2 Indian brigades are sent across the ocean to reinforce Port Blair... A heart-stopping operation. I foresee a major inspection of every single unit tomorrow morning to make up for lack of attention.

DEI:

Sabang falls. There are less than 5 Dutch units still out there in DEI, and their fate is now certain.

China:

No advances, just lots of bombardments. I think IJA has ran out of supplies to make an offensive push.

Burma:

4 Tank regiments are spotted in Northern Burma as they route remaining Burmese guerrillas. 25th IJA ID is still sitting at Akyab.

2 Indian brigades are sent to Port Blair at a cost of a couple of transports and a badly wounded CLAA (83 flt). That's despite 70 fighters on CAP. While seemingly pointless, this operation proved that we do not nearly have enough air cover to do an actual assault on an enemy base.

Australia:

Two Guards regiments land in Geraldton. The operation appears to be a feint, as no movement towards Perth is detected. KB, however, does pay a visit to the west shore, bombarding Perth a couple of times.

Elsewhere:

Apparently Allied subs have had the worst month ever, with 3-4 being sunk every turn. I wonder if IJN ships have had a major ASW upgrade in the last month.
