ORIGINAL: USSAmerica Just got this picture from the builder's agent. We have siding and I'm really pleased with how things look! Not going to tell Mrs. USSA yet. We are driving over on Saturday and I'll let her be pleasantly surprised then. Nice Mike! BTW, how will you do the yard? Leo "Apollo11" Thanks, Leo! The photo with the siding is taken from the road, so there is not a large amount of lawn in the front of the house. It will be grass in front and on the left side of the house (facing it from the street). The right side will have the driveway and a little bit of lawn. If that was all we had to keep up with, a walking lawn mower would be fine. The back yard is another matter. Until we have the pool and fence built, there will be about 1/4 acre in the backyard to mow, with trees behind that. There is also the cleared septic drain field in the back half of the property that will need to be kept mowed about 1 time per month, along with the cleared path back to it. Even after the pool is built, we hope to fence in a large part of the cleared area to have room for the grand-dogs to run when they visit and to have more than just the pool in the backyard. All of that adds up to enough to justify a riding lawn mower that will make pretty short work of it, with just some trimming to do around the house and such. So, you decided to have a house built in the countryside so you could finally get your wife to allow you to have a riding mower? Brilliant! My thoughts exactly....GP
