February 1st-2nd 1942 ______________________________________________________________________________ At least a good day in the air on the 1st. ------------------------ Pacific ------------------------ KB Vals take a beating over PH. Hopefully some good pilots are lost. I created a PT TF to hopefully wreck havoc among all the damaged shipping. Instead the spend their entire turns avoiding combat (68 AG Leader) and shooting with their MGs...not the best supply I´ve spent... ------------------------ DEI ------------------------ Nick lands at Makassar. Gah. Was really close intercepting this one but a few hexes short... Still have some considerable naval power in the area. But as I lost bases I lose NavSearch and Nick gains it together with LBA. Its makes it harder and harder to operate and not the least to find targets. I´m thinking the time to pull out is approaching. Might get a shot at something tomorrow. Fingers crossed. ------------------------ China ------------------------ The AVG intercepts another unescorted bomb run. Heh! I stood them down expecting a massive sweep hitting the LRCAP. Instead 20 Nates show up! I can play with Nates! LRCAP back up tomorrow! (I fully expect a huge Zero/Oscar sweep tomorrow). Nick attacks the roadblock to Sian again. Much worse for me this time. quote:
