Infinifactory - The sequel to SpaceChem, it's in early access but it's in really good shape. Very much like SpaceChem but in 3D. You get a supply of blocks and have to use conveyor belts and various tools to combine them in specific ways and deliver to the output spot(s). Starts off simple and rapidly gets tricky. You then compare your efficiency to everyone else who has played that level. Involves basic programming concepts after a certain point. Nerdy fun!

Just because this thread has a Space Chem element to it, don't forget the already out there sequel to Space Chem, Ironclad Tactics. It basically has you programming mechs in an American Civil War alt history. It seemed fun from the 15 minutes I've played it. Needless to say I got it from a bundle, and it's on my backlog to play for real. But based on its setting alone might interest people around here.

Around that. Dragon Age II is smaller, but the new one, Dragon Age: Inquisition, I'll say it will be as long as the first one.

Does anyone played Dragon Age: Inquisition, would be some feedback on that game though.

In a nutshell if you've played one you've played them all. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

I'm playing it now. Although it's not a open world game, the areas are much more open and larger. For me that's the biggest positive change. I've always hated the corridor feeling when I've played the other Dragon Age titles.

There's now a war room area where you make some strategic decisions. I haven't played enough to tell if the choices made here will impact on the game or not. Anyway for me it's a welcome mechanic.

Unfortunately, like most AAA titles, the UI was designed for consoles and joypads, but eventually you'll get use to it.

In terms of story, it's OK, but not as good as The Witcher titles. Specially the side quests could be more interesting.

Overall I'm enjoying, it's a fun lite ARPG. Much better than the second Dragon Age II, which was a disappointment for me.

BTW the game is now 50% on sale on Origin store.

I hope they use this engine for the new Mass Effect game.

Hmm I love roaming around like in Morrowind, Oblivion, etcs. And was told Dragon Age II was less interesting than the first one or poorer reviews, and thanks I will check it out and hopefully it will still be on sale by the 1st July, already spend most of my cash on Steam this month.

I was hoping to pick up To End All Wars in this sale but it never dropped below 10% off.

Guess I'll have to wait until the next sale.

Overall, happy with the dozen or so titles I picked up, some for nostalgia sake, others off my wish list, most expensive purchase £10.17 (The Talos Principle).

Cheers

I find this years sale kind of funny. I bought $24.99 worth of stuff and got $21 and some change back in "refunds" for all of them. They just didn't turn out to be what I wanted. I want to try that Mortichief game or whatever it is called but I ain't swingin $25 for one game in beta that only a handful of people are playing right now.

That pretty big list, should keep you busy for couple of years if you don't have much to do.

Here's my list:

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Close Combat: Gateway to Caen
Frontline: Road to Moscow
Hell!
Homeworld Remastered Collection (a violation of my 75% minimum discount rule but worth it)
Hostile Waters: Antares Rising
How to Survive
The Last Federation
Rise of Prussia Gold
Ultimate General Gettysburg
Valkyria Chronicles
The Witcher 1 and 2
Total War: Shogun 2 (pulled the trigger on this a my last buy of the sale last night)

Haven't totaled up the damage, but most were under $5 and none over $8

Sales are fun! I will be downloading these new acquisitions until the Christmas sale begins thanks to my 20 gig a month data cap.

My son (who provides my cell phone and service) showed me how to tether it to my computer so I can use the unlimited data plan on the phone to download my games. I tried it but it was ridiculously slow. My connection is 4G but doesn't really seem any faster than when it was 2G. Another penalty for living on civilization's frontier

Well done, indeed! This must have put a tiny dent in your massive wish list :)

Guard your health though... you don't want to end up in retirement with a monstrous game collection waiting to be played but your vision is shot and the bones ache too much to sit at a computer screen for too long. I've got the games but find myself rarely playing anything (for various reasons).

I have found that collecting Kindle books to read in retirement was a great plan. I have over 800 books backed up in my reading queue (kinda like your game collection). I knock off at least three or four books a week and sometimes crash though two or more in a night if they are exciting enough.

I have all my game manuals on my Fire tablet as well so I read more about my games than actually play them.

Good advice Rhonda, thanks! I plan to workout daily (get enough rest and eat right too) so hopefully everything will continue to be good! You picked up some great games yourself! Cheers!

I didn't purchase as many games this steam sale as I did the winter sale, but I still think I picked up a few gems.

Finally bought into the Civ 5 series picking up all expansions and DLC for $12. (I look forward to hundreds of hours of entertainment and fun!)

Also picked up TOME (Tales of Majeyel) for $1.30 (Love roguelikes and for a $1.30 I'll most certainly get my moneys worth)

I intend to do much more damage to my wallet this winter when the "Festive" season puts me in an awful mood to buy.

I picked up quite a bit. As always :(

Cook, Serve Delicious
Besiege (Early Access)
Endless Legend and the expansion pack
The Banner Saga (Fantastic game)
Grid Autosport and all DLC
Space Hulk Ascension (For the Emperor!)
Starpoint Gemini 2 (I already like this better than Elite)
The Escapist
Pillars of Eternity (My big title and the one I paid the most for)
DLC for Euro Truck Sim 2 (great game to relax with, turn on European radio and deliver cargo)
DLC for EU IV
DLC for CK II
Gang Beasts (something to play with my nephew, its early access but a really silly fighting game with a good physics engine)
Long Live the Queen
Broforce (Early access but one of the better titles I have played in a while)
Wolfenstein the New Order and the Old Blood
This War of Mine (best anti war game ever made)

Did you get the DLC for Shogun 2?
If not, then I suggest getting it and it is all on sale this weekend.

Shogun 2 is one of my favorite titles. Steam says I have 362 hours in it.

The Fall of the Samurai expansion is a must own IMO. It moves the timeline to the the mid 1860s so you get civil war era game play mixed with samurai.

You really do get two games in one. IMO the best Total War game available.

It is very well worth it. I play both campaigns, but I actually prefer Fall of the Samurai.
Rifles and cannon mixed with spears and swords.
