Status: offline 		clearly there is no single best piece in a game where there are highs and low. The 1812 overture is an obvious choice for the soviet in late '41. However, I commend this version of a classic to anyone feeling things aren't going as well as they would like. My thanks to Manstein 63 who put me onto it

Status: offline 		I've collected a number of soundtracks over the years some of which are perfect for my "Ground Pounding" playlist

Savings Private Ryan (Williams), Glory (RIP James Horner), Gladiator (Zimmer), Patton, Hart's War to name a few

And of course the handful of tracks that came with the video games Steel Panthers and Ardennes Offensive are always in the mix
