OK either I have missed it or it is not in the rules but as I understand it armaments, heavy industry and vehicles can be shipping in partial amounts all other mfg types once you ship one the rest are destroyed. Do I have this right ?

yes ..

so if the factory produces a named plane or tank you have one chance to move the factory and lose all that doesn't evac.

if its HI/arms pts/trucks you can move in increments as you have capacity
