Very nice. As a former ASL player of course I love the boards. How does this translate to gameplay - I assume the 548 acts as the Elite German unit in the game and the ASL numbers on the counter have no relevance.

The 5-4-8 is a German Fallschirmjäger full squad in TotH and yes the numbers mean nothing for TotH.

Where's the Les the Sarge counter? It was always my favorite.

What happened to him? I used to really enjoy his insight

There sure is a lot of nostalgia present.

The first thing that entered my mind when seeing the shocking level of similarity visually is how did you get past the legality issues of seeming to outright copy ASL? The owners of ASL are not a very friendly bunch. Not that I care about those ogres.

Really like some of the art work shown. But for me it's mainly about getting rid of all of the physical agro from the physical board game. I also like how you can't normally argue with a program. Never liked fidgeting with stacks of counters and all because you couldn't see the map underneath. And a large stack surrounded by large stacks was a lot of work to look at.

TotH was inspired by ASL and other past board games.

You do know that ASL means "Ain't Squad Leader" I was a Squad Leader gamer and after Cross of Iron the series went to heck in a hand basket

I'm inclined to agree.

JMass and Richie61 Thank you so much for sharing those screen shots of your mods. Takes me back to about 1982 and some amazing memories of tearing the shrink rap off a certain boardgame.
