Japan uses their two navals to replace the 5 CPs lost to the USN earlier this turn and to put more air and naval escorts into the China Sea.

No combat by the IJN in either the China or South China Sea.

Japan recaptures Canton China. I believe the temporary loss of Canton has resulted in the factory there becoming damage. That's no big deal as Japan now has more factories than resources to feed them. More critical concern is if the major port there was also damaged rendering it equivalent to a minor port until repaired. I'm not sure on that one.

Though Japan has been bloodied and put on the defensive by the allies, they are a long way from defeated. In fact, they are still ahead of most, if not all, the allies based on relative victory totals (i.e., victory totals - historic victory totals in August 1945).

The disruption of the allied convoy lines by successful German u-boat attacks in the North Atlantic and Norwegian sea manifest as the loss of 5 BPs for the CW and 1 BP for the Soviet Union. The Western Allies consider this acceptable in the face of what they might accomplish with a land action against the Germans. So, both the USA and CW take a land. In fact, all five allies take a land.

Mao takes no losses but his latest attack results in the disorganization of his entire army. Terauchi is just superior to Mao in strategy and execution.

The third attempt to disorganize the out of supply non-white print single unit defender of Bordeaux. Taking it in a land combat with the unit disorganized would be a piece of cake. That's not to be this impulse.
