do the boogie!

Yes Victory, Needed as may allow the guard corp here to be reaction force after germans launch the snow /blizzard offensive.

which is a 30 tank/mech snowball.

I have no idea how to stop it.

He can go north west, north or northeast. Or 2 of the three. I am assuming he will not redeploy tank.

Mud 4 of 4. German tank mass awaits final orders.

So: how many turns will it take sillyflower to capture the last cities for 290 vp?

sillyflower, being silly, thought vp was 260.
"I got my 260 VPs and ended my turn, thinking that was it, but it just ended the turn like any other"

But when I push the little vp button it says he needs 290 vp?

Thus war continues.

I will post mud shots soon.

atm silly has requested a redo of the first snow turn as he was playing vc 260 . He had 260 vc with the first Nov 42 snow turn and stopped in the middle and executed. He thought game would end but it went to my turn.

I think they changed the vc levels to 290 in one of the betas. Which we both upgraded too. My whole mud was playing to the vc 290 which I saw in the vc button. I go with whatever the beta forces me to play.

Thus maybe game will continue. I ok them giving him a redo of the first snow Nov 42 turn. In case anyone is listening.

I , playing vc 290, set up an outer d perimeter with my best troops.
They build the best and they need rest and refit.

I hope to hold him lightly just above the middle city with the major river with main troops further north.

East of his mass I have a loose tank force to attempt ? atm. Mobile it shall be.

He can also go northwest. My line wont hold but if he gets stretched I will try and sever the tip.

Silly did a few attacks on the flanks for better positioning.

He was playing under the vc 260 assumption. Which may explain the attacks.

I've retreated more good units to the main line above.

The first river line is weak.

I've railed in one army from the Western and one from the Kalinin Front (just released)
I should be able to hold the swamp line between Syzran and the city one further east.

Other parts west are not so good.
My guards continue to build and I am building more and refitting return of the dead armor and guard cav units

other area final positions. Not sure how much to retreat here once German offensive shows direction.

I'll probably do it a few turns to late

This is a server game, right? What you really need as a patient on the critical list is a full blown work-up/force analysis.

Simple answer. I have 5.5 million men and lousy industry and armaments.

Thus Must attack!

Stalin sizes it all up and.

All out counterattack.

Basically this is the theory. He is as stretched as he can be from his infantry this turn.
Another turn and his infantry will have caught up to my main lines ruining any chance of mayhem.
Plus b/c of snow my infantry can reach his units for snow 2 and snow 3 turn. Plus all are rested.

I must cause massive head knock and frustration.

Here I rescue my east troops

The 3/14 German Mot is attacked multiple times.
It does the merry-go-round of retreats and ends up on other side of river.

And now routed.

I am hoping this is the eastern front version of the reverse Battle of the Bulge?

Here I clear German armor. I will send in tank corps to cut off the 5 German tank divisions at the spear tip.

They are the 5th 16th 23rd 11th and 20th Armor divisions. Each hex will be attacked at bad odds to lower supply.

I send in another sacrificial tank corp. This tank will be split and rgt's move sw, se and east.

thus Silly will have fewer river crossing in his hand before next turns move.
Plus the 17-19 tank is now cut off as well.

I have accounted for almost all his armor on a review.
EXCEPT I only see the SS Viking division. I cannot, atm, locate his other ss divisions.

And I am not clear how many of these he has at this point. They are the next turn wild card.

Maybe, maybe, they are still on rr moving this way or are here and being used as reserve knockout force.
