I attack the other forward German infantry unit and do this one further west for localized opportunity

I think about making a sacrificial deep tank thrust.

I could reach 2 more hexes and rout that german airbase just to the west.

I decide against

Final Penza area.

Besides moving in my first Guards army I have shifted in west of Penza a few good guards infantry corp.

I assume all will be needed next turn.

you get more Guards % in Jan 1944. in 1943 your guards % is still decently low as per game limits. You have alot of guards units overall so looks about right for 1943.

I thought armor had no limits?

Please explain why 2nd Army tank has not converted its record is like 43 -20?

It's cavalry that isn't limited- tanks are. Armies need more wins than corps to convert to guards. Like 65, but also depends on whether mild blizzard is used.

Cav and mountain are the only units with no limits. All over units have a % limit and pretty sure is a limit on Guard tank armies to....which is why Shock armies are key to supplementing them.

mostly routs but I still have main group cut off.

I am contemplating brute force inorder to relieve them.

btw Zhuchov has again been dismissed as Head general. His leadership rating is a 4
Question. Is firing before supply is given out for the turn or fired after?

I would like to extract this Guards Army up here and move south but again major rr issues.

Thus trying to push west as best I can

not sure which hex to attack to get supply. the 63 = x or the 83 = x hex.

63=x actually allows your trapped units to then move into that hex and your lines basically.
