He pushed toward the 2 cities North of Moscow. I move in local Guards to power up the area.
I could use a tactical hold of these cites!

Also, I think I can now hold the 2 hexes just east of Moscow.

Last I hope to push mostly the southern Moscow flank.

final far south.

1 hold the mountain pass.
2 shoot the local general who allowed Kerch to be taken so easily
3 extract 1st guard infantry which I (stupid) moved closer to the south German panzers after I got too giddy from my Rostov attacks and supply cut.

I forgot that lower area in April remains clear.

Well. Here come the mighty German Mountain men.

A surprise by the depth of infiltration,

Causing angst in the high ranks.

I have to decide on full retreat out of area or can I hold them off and hold the mountain pass.

The first miracle of the war.

I have a tank corp at 50 mp which can reach major cut off spot.

It does not get air intervened.

Yes!

I then do a Cav raid deep behind lines pressuring supply lines and forcing a river crossing for supply.

I hope he will be cut off enough to limit next turn damage.

Yeah right!

Moscow area.

I consider this a big win as I regain the river line north of Moscow.

I think I have a good feel for where al his armor is. Not too many unaccounted for.

I do not have picture but Silly flower flanks my Grovzy position.

Major problems as I have my two guard corps now trapped and now unable to seal pass to Baku.

Very bad.

After awhile opportunities open up.

Silly did no know that I had 2 36 mp tank corps in the pocket.

One goes left and this picture shows the other escape route.

While doin this I move the 1st guard army hq out of the pocket and move in another.

I also swing a very good general hq down to baku pass.

Final positions. I break up one guard corps.

The other is stuck in rr mode as it opened the turn with zero MP's.(talk about mean and unfair)

The bottom part will be clear and the top will be mud.

He is was cut off here and I hope he somehow in mud does not break the pocket
(mud has not been a problem to the Germans when attacking so far in this war).

THESE pictures are up to date!

no give away info please

This is a good view of starting positions.

This is Before action.

I must find way to cut rr line up here.

I have a few 50 mp tank corp with Konev and Zuchov as leaders in area.

Here I thought the retreat went the wrong way but this was the first of many attacks.

his rr runs down the West line to Krasnodor but then stops as the swamp just east of Krasnodor.

Here is choice 1 for a second tank exploit.
This would displace a few hq's and maybe mean his units cut further south thru 2 turns mud and then first all clear.

I could also move it's last spot just right and fully cut off the middle German units.

choice 2.

I then do another attack which allows a different tank corp one more mp.

This would also reach the west rr line but realty the unit would be stretched.
