Oh dear, I hadn't expected my "See, this is what happens when you play without "No ZOC on Surprise". It's so totally unrealistic. Steve should have dropped everything and made this compulsory optional rule his number one priority to code. The game is completely unplayable without it." comment to be taken as anything other than an ironic pastiche of other threads calling for the immediate coding of certain optional rules without which the game is "totally unrealistic" and "unplayabale". Perhaps I should have added an afterwards.

I suspected that it was ironic. But I thought a comment wouldn't hurt.

I think Alannis should add a verse:

It's like a post from Keith, about zone of control
He didn't add a , now he sounds like a troll
And isn't it ironic.......

A good comment it was too as it sums up things pretty well.

The Persian front is much ado about nothing. The Soviets have crossed the border but the poooer weather has stopped any thought of attacking Tehran - or even reaching the place.

Moving straight on to China, there is more Allied woe in store unless the weather god becomes friendly or - even better - the turn ends

I think I heard it before. But I am not sure. There are glaringly big holes in my musical education.

S/O 39 Axis 9.

No DoW

Germany & Japan Land. Italy Combined.

Italy initiates combat in the Bay of Biscay.

Searches: Axis 8, Allies 5. No combat.

Germany sends a Stuka to ground strike the hex SW of Brussels. Do the Allies wish to intercept?

What is the maximum fighter strength the Germans can get on that hex at half range please (assuming front fighter is highest quality)?

The pilotes of the L'armee de l'air thank their German opponents for the invitation, but regretfully have to decline as they have a better offer. Its the French Cup Final today!

Such a shame but one can understand these competing priorities.

Are the French 37mm AA crews located in the targeted hex also attending said cup final or do they wish to avail themselves of some target practice?

The 15th (Marseille) Division de AA are also at the match supporting Les Phoceens and so the German aircraft is free to bomb, strafe and generally make a nuisance of itself without fear of interruption.

Mention in despatches for persistence in the face of the enemy.

Sorry, I am not persistent enough. I change the convoy route and the computer, at once, change it back. I am to frustrated to continue.

And I also had a MadExcept during this time. I am taking a break.

No idea why the resource routing system is considered a working one.

My advice is to Clear all the Default and Override settings for the resources and let the computer make a first pass.

Then figure out exactly what you don't like about the choices the computer made.

Then fix them one at a time using Default settings using Recompute after each change.

Trying to change several items in a single pass might result in Recompute making a lot of changes you didn't anticipate.

If you expect the computer to send resource R to factory F and it doesn't [sending resource S to F instead], try setting resource S to Idle.

Given such overwhelming generosity in respect of our gracious hosts, it only seems fitting the pilots of St.G 1 should bomb, strafe and generally make a nuisance of themselves without fear of interruption on some empty fields .

They were not empty fields - they were choc full of cows. However, I am pleased to report that, owing to the sophisticated range of camoflague gear being provided to our bovine Allies, not one cow was hurt in the raid.

Listen mate I have no wish to pry but.. this camoflague gear thing? Is this some kind of fetish situation or what? I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that - I always wear my gimp mask at weekends....
