J/F 42 Axis 5

Japan declares war on France.

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Japan sends subs to Bay of Bengal (4 and 3 boxes) and SE Indian Ocean (1-box). A CP leaves Tokyo for the Timor Sea.

After declining South China Sea, 3 areas for naval combat. Bay of Bengal, SE Indian Ocean and Bay of Biscay.

First up, Bay of Bengal. The Allies can fly Whitley to 2-box and Hurricane to 1-box. Both are based at Singapore.

While the Allies decide on what they want for the Bay of Bengal, the Japanese press on with SE Indian Ocean. However, they are unable to locate the French convoys. Searches: Axis 7, Allies 9.

In Biscay, an Italian NAV initiates the search. Do the Allies wish to send a Lancaster or A-22?

No air for Bay of Bengal.

The A-22, thank you.

I will be out for an hour now. Warspite1 will do what is needed, if he has the time.

Which box for the A-22? It can reach up to the 2-box.

In Bay of Bengal, searches of Axis 10 and Allies 7 mean no combat there.

Searches of Axis 7, Allies 4 also yields no combat.

Japan rails Yamamoto to Mukden.

Italy rails Turin MIL to Paris.

Awaiting Mayhemizer to do the rest of the impulse.

Okay, any idea on timescales for Mayhemizer coming on line or you continuing with the other game? Just checking for day planning purposes - I have a Broadchurch and a Prime Suspect 1973 recorded if not

I accidently entered the wrong thread.

I am truly sorry about that. Fortunately I realized my mistake before the page even had loaded.

No problemo.

I do that sometimes with my phone when page is not loading fast enough and I tap again. Of course there is your thread waiting for my finger when page is loaded nanoseconds before I tap screen. Then I hit "back" button so that I can't see anything

Rail moves

Germany rails from Italy INF div to Melel and PARA to Danzig. INF from Breslau to eastern Hungary.

Land moves

Germany adjusts land units in eastern front, all the way from Finland to Hungary.

Japanese land moves: 6th INF to Kaifeng. Terauci and MIL to Chengchow. (They all moved one hex east).

Land combat

Germany makes automatic attack against Partisan in France. No other land combats.

Rebase missions

Germany rebases Ju52 from Spain to NE France and Stuka from Königsberg 2 hexes east. Two Bf109's by hex in SE in USSR border.

Italian Stuka from Sicily to northern Italy and ATR from Sicily to Poland.

Japan rebases Ki-30 to Port Arthur and FTR from Truk to Kwajalein.

Air reorganization

Italian ATR makes an air reorganization mission for German PARA. Too bad one point is not enough to reorganize PARA. Well, ATR might as well land to same hex with PARA (it was 6 hexes short after rebase mission). Little gamey, but mission accomplished

HQ reorganization

von Leeb reorganizes Ju88 in Spain.

Back to the Allies.

Land Movement (Cont)

Soviet Union
The Soviets decide that discretion is the batter part of valour or some old nonsense, and pull back the bulk of their troops east of the original Soviet/Polish border.

In the Far East there is little movement other than the Vladivostok Militia have been moved further west and the 1st Mountain Corps has been ordered to push south into the Changbai Mountains.

Communist Chinese
The Communist Chinese split their forces. While Mao and his Eastern Army pursue Terauchi, the Western Army seek to engage the Japanese 12th Army.
