Could have been worse. How would the Allies like to place the D?

On the fast sub.

I never got the second air combat roll from the die roller. (The 12)

Maybe it is just some delay before the email arrives.

Not that it matters.

I put the first A on the undamaged sub as if it had saved there was a small chance of leaving 1 sub in the area. Once it failed, the remaining 2 A's meant the other sub was heading back to port no matter what so I didn't bother with the die roller.

The Italians abort the next round. Subs return to Gib, the NAV to Cadiz.

In East Med, the Italians decline combat.

Bay of Biscay

The Fw-190 initiates. The Germans add a NAV and the Italians chip in two for good measure.

The Allies have a range of aircraft available. Most can get up to the 1-box. The Sunderland can reach the 3-box. Any taking to the skies?

CW fly with the Spitfire in Liverpool, and the two three-ranged fighters in Spain. CW throw in the Skua as well. All to the 0-box.

USA will add the NAV and TAC in Plymouth to the 0-box.

With a fair number of planes milling about ...

Searches: Axis 3, Allies 1. Axis find and pick naval air combat.

Do the Allies wish to adjust the batting order?

Put the Skua first.

Edit: And now I got the Cape St Vincent searches. One hour late.

Edit 2: And now the missing air combat roll. Things are speeding up.

The Axis get a pretty good response. The result is CW choice of front bomber or fighter. With Orm having moved the Skua to the front, I assume this will be the sacrificial lamb. With the odds having significantly deteriorated, the Axis abort.

The recent Skua loss reminded me about this. No need to go back. We just fix it next time. Or the time after that.

No declarations of war. USA aligns Panama.

Land: USSR, China
Naval: France, CW, USA

No Port Strikes.

CW send a Sunderland squadron to patrol the Baltic Sea. Indian Hurricanes patrol the East Med.

US sends several submarines to raid the Japanese convoy lines.

Western Allies send out lots of convoy escorts and picket forces.

US send several loaded TRS from US to Faeroes Gap. CW send a TRS from Morocco to the East Coast and embark US forces.

Several sea areas had 1 CP added.

Allies can activate naval combat in six sea areas.

United Kingdom is eager to see if their new long range scout is worth the cost so the Baltic Sea is up first.

Germany can send assisting aircraft to the Baltic Sea. Four of them. The Ju 88C reach the 0-box while the others reach the 1-box.

Any takers?

Actually, can I find anything in rain from box 1?

If you didn't roll yet and you see this before rolling, 0 box if I can't find from box 1.

Didn't really think about it. You are right that you can't find anything in rain from the 1-box without any bonus. And that you do not have.

Changed the Fokker to the 0-box.

And I also forgot that Italy could provide the SM.81 bomber slash air transport. It also reach the 1-box.

I suspect it will stay grounded but I though I ask anyway.

CW is not even close to find in the Baltic Sea (9 rolled).

Time to try our luck in the East Med. CW add a bomber to the sea area.

Italy has a FTR2 on standby that reach the 1-box.
