End of Turn for Japan and Italy

Italy sends the Synth Oil to production (Milan). Should give 10 BP's.

Japan sends one of the NEI oils to Hainan. Save idle NEI oil in place at Palembang. No other changes. A measly 5 BP's.

Stay at Sea/RTB

Japan
China Sea - NAV in 4-box, CV and 2 CA in 3-box stay at sea. CA's and BB's return to Fukuoka.
South China Sea - CVL and BB's stay at sea. Sian CA to Bangkok. Other to Fukuoka.
Bismark, Solomons and Marianas, CP returns to Tokyo. Warships to Truk.
Coral Sea - Sub stays.
Cape Naturaliste - Sub stays.
Sea of Japan - No stays. TRANS to Truk. CA's to Fukuoka.

Italy
East Med - No stays. FTR to hex 74,39. NAV to 74,39.

Oil use

Germany and Italy will click to share oil with each other.

Use oil point in Trieste to reorganise the Hungarian HQ and the 3 Italian units.
Japan reorgs all for 3.7. All units that can source oil from Truk do so (1.6 points, so expend thew 2nd one). All units that source from Japan do so. Use the Kyoto oil (1.9 points, so expend for 2 cost). Siam CA and sub at Batavia use 0.2 oil from Batavia at no cost.

No break downs

Production

Italy 10

That may have been the quietest S/O 42 that I have ever seen, not counting the Japanese convoy disaster in the China Sea. Usually both sides are trying to makes gains in different parts of the map.

Axis won the initiative roll. Will Axis go first or not?

Completing the end of turn took longer than expected so I will not make any end of turn posts until tomorrow. Good night.

Tripolitania.

I think there is a supply bug here. Tunis should be a secondary supply source to CW. And it has a rail link to a primary supply source. Compare with Wavell that is in supply.

Gents,

Before we go further, the AMPH and INF currently showing at Truk should have gone from the Marianas back to Tokyo. It looks like I left that sentence out of the Return to Base instructions -

"China Sea - NAV in 4-box, CV and 2 CA in 3-box stay at sea.
CA's to Fukuoka."

No need to redo the whole end of turn as I should be able to edit the game file, if that's okay with everyone?

I don't think there is anything wrong with the supply here.

Consider this for a moment: the CW liberates Tunesia and reverts it back into Free French control. This means that Tunisia has become a minor country aligned to France again. Tunis is also controlled by Tunisia again and not by the Free French. And Tunisia doesn't cooperate with CW units, only with Free French ones.

So Tunis is only s secondary supply source for Free France.

In news that shocked the world today, the leaders of the Chinese Nationalists - Chiang Kai Shek - and his Communist counterpart - Mao-Tse Tung - have agreed to bury the hatchet for the remainder of the war and appoint a supreme warlord who will direct operations for both factions on a joint, impartial and fair basis. Generalisimo warspite1 will begin work at his new Headquarters in downtown Nanking as soon as he's got to grips with his new portfolio......"God help the Chinese" exclaimed one senior US advisor.....

warspite1 entered his small 10 foot by 10 foot command room and, after 15 minutes of searching with an inane, puzzled look on his face, finally found his desk. "I don't suppose there's a cup of tea going?" he enquired as he shuffled a large pile of papers before promptly falling asleep...
