The Allies do not commit their sub.

The Axis (2) surprise the Allies (7)

I assume they will pick the 0-box with the 3-factor fighter and the convoy point?

I got 3 - 7. Is that a typo?
warspite1

No - the 2 is after the amendment. The dice throw was a 3.

All points to decrease CW A2A factors. Gernan NAV as front bomber, Sparviero as the last bomber.

It is just that the unmodified die roll is used when calculating surprise points.

Yes we need to report as a bug . Fortunately its just one odd point so could not be used...

Not sure I follow? The program had 4 surprise points and that is correct.

Okay so long as you think its right. I saw:

Axis Throw - 3 (2)
Allied Throw - 7

Difference 4 but difference after amendment I assumed should have been 5? If the amendment is not supposed to be taken into account then all is well.

The amendment does not affect surprise. But it does affect if the force finds or not. Hence I prefer to see the actual die rolls.

I have to quit for about an hour.

Axis stay to the and. Primary target is CV. Then X's and D's those with highest shore bombardment and A's to BB's with defense 4 and cruisers.

Axis choose box 3 only as long as there are any ships. After that thay choose box 0.

Having seen the vaunted RAF Whispering Death splashed by the Hungarians, the Royal Navy finds itself alone as bloody usual.

HMS Furious is the target for the Axis NAV and is hit repeatedly.

Admiral Cunningham turns to look out of the bridge to port and is amazed by the turn of events unfolding. HMS Ramillies is hit and has to abort. ABC is not amazed that she is hit, but that the useless old tart could actually make enough speed to get into the battle.

HMS Renown is the next to be so badly hit she is aborted.

Followed by HMS Rodney.

And why should the Allies listen to what you want? I rather we do what we prefer.
