Hello,

Regarding this issue I've already asked in the question and answer section and got a reply from Mike.
Thank you for that!

It's possibly a user error but please have a look at my attached test scenario.

An unfriendly Blue RC-135W enters a patrol area of two Red Su-35.
After detecting the RC-135W the two Su-35 quickly move towards it. But after identification of the intruder they break up and turn back to their plotted course.
So the intruder remains in their patrol/prosecution area without being tracked.

Same break of scramble seem to happen for the Strike/ Air Intercept mission.

Using Build 825, Database Build 443.

Yeah this is by design, the aircraft proceed to the next contact or resume patrol.

I though we had unfriendly set to do everything but attack. If they're not following etc. what exactly is the point of the unfriendly setting other than its orange not green

There are some things that you can do to simulate a "warn off"

1. Set the Su-35's to declare the RC-135 as Hostile if it stays in the patrol/prosecution area for X amount of time...using Events/Triggers. This simulates an ID, a warning to leave, and contacting base for authorization to fire.

2. You can set the Su-35's to Air Weapons Hold, and declare the RC-135 as Hostile immediately on entering the patrol/prosecution area. Then set weapons Tight/Free after X period of time (using Lua Script). This does the same as #1, but the Su-35's will stay right with the RC-135 until given clearance to fire.

3. You can set the RC-135 to Run Like Hell if a Hostile or Unfriendly fighter is detected within a given area. This simulates a successful "warn off" (as long as the RC-135 moves away fast enough and far enough)

There are probably more possibilities that I don't know about.

This is explisitly handled in the code: as soon as a contact has been identified, proceed to identify the next rather than just hanging around
