No partisans placed. Germany placed two markers as defensive and I placed the RU marker as defensive as well (based on the fact that all other markers were defensive).

Italian subs return to base to La Rochelle in France.

The GE FIG and IT NAV in the W. Med drop one box and stay at sea.

The JP transports at sea return to Tokyo as do any excess CPs in the Japanese Coast sea zone (depends on US Entry options taken).

Sep-Oct 1940. End of Turn. Use Oil. Neutral Allies.

China and the USSR required no oil and the USA only required 0.1 oil. So none of the neutrals consumed any oil.

Sep-Oct 1940. End of Turn. Use Oil. CW.

The CW was able to save an entire oil point by not reorganizing the CA Terror.

Turn 8. Nov/Dec 1940. Initiative.

The allies win the first roll and the axis elect not to re-roll, which leaves the decision to move first with the allies. Playing the odds that the weather will be bad and this will be a short turn I decide to let the axis move first.

ND40 i1 axis:
Sorry about not getting to this on Tuesday.
JP and GE take land actions, while IT takes a combined and sorties the sub fleet.
Three zone will have combat initiated. The first was the E. Coast with search rolls of 1/2 (axis/allies), so IT had 2 surprise points. Will the remaining convoys risk a round 2?
In the Bay of Biscay, what will you want to fly out?

1. East Coast - remaining CPs stay. Aborted CPs return to CW base without chance of axis intercept using the following priority: (1) Plymouth, (2) Gibraltar and (3) Halifax.

2. Bay of Biscay - Albacore to the 0-box (assuming no axis fighters can fly). If axis fighters can be added, then Beau FTR to 0-box.

E. Coast round 2 searches of 8/3 resulted in no contact. The 3 abort CPs went to Gibraltar.
