The comprehensive list is too long to bother but here are a few near the end that I cannot pronounce and have not seen before. Also getting a bunch of missiles shot at me.

The race is tight for Chengtu. I face the 17th/B & 17th/C regiments. A division has moved next to the city and is 3-4 turns away from attack. A tank probe attack showed 166AV with 195 adjusted which is a good sign.

In 1-2 turns I have the 46th Indian Brigade and the 7th/A indian division adding 200AV to my stack. Also I plan on doing a coordinated attack where hopefully some paratroops can aid in disruption and AV. Weather has delayed some planning on that op but I only have a short window before I have to contend with that other division and another delay in liberating China.

Bewilderingly, MrKane evacuated Kweiyang 2 turns ago. I have no idea why he would do that as it gives me a lvl 9 airfield right in central China. I was planning on having a bunch of troops go around as it was 1100AV at least. This will help in the long run. My guess is supply problems.

The liberation of Chengtu is known as operation Clown Car. Once successful an impossibly large number of Chinese troops pop out of the city (or Chungking but never liberated that one 1st). All of these troops have 40 morale and 40 training making them basically worthless for anything but garrison and blocking duty.

The Chinese have thanked us by politely requesting all troops leave central and southern China.

The great migration begins.

I literally have a spreadsheet to manage the troop movements.

Wow....just had a chance to catch up on this AAR.
Great scrap from both of you.
If you are worried about points......concentrate on harvesting strategic bombing points....so many to be had.
The air war over Japan at this stage is the key.....I think.

July 12, 1945

The first Chinese assault of Chungking to liberate the city. Over 14,000 Japanese troops die to 9,000 Chinese. In 3 days another attack will occur. I will circulate 10 new divisions into the city with at least 8 more on the way. Almost all of the divisions have upgraded to 1945 rifle divisions already. It took me a few weeks or so delay to allow that to happen.

NF in my game ... and 2x250kg isn't much of a bomber ... that's 1/4 the load out of the allied bombers at that point ... no bomber bonuses to ....

2nd attack goes in at Chungking. MrKane reinforced with 6 units in between battles. There are essentially no more reinforcements for him. Another attack will happen in 5 days once the wounded divisions are swapped for fresh(er) ones.

Well that moved things in the right direction at least. Tough losses, but that should seal the deal and following attacks, assuming a forts reduction to level 1, should be much easier.

4th Attack on Chungking

He is showing signs of weakness now. 4 - 5 days and I re-arrange the troops for one more attack.

Late July 1945

With the fall of Chungking, the Allies gain the points lead for the first time since forever.

Miri, CRB, Shanghai and Palembang are still holdouts. CRB and Miri get bombed daily weather permitting. They are still in supply with good defenses. I am hoping supply becomes an issue at some point.

Takao is getting hit with 4-5 battleship bombardments per day and massive air attacks. It is a lvl 6 fort so the air is not doing much but the bombardments are tearing up the island. I am moving tanks over for a final battle here. The base should succumb within 2 weeks allowing me to focus on other bases to the north.

Chinese troops cannot strat move and the rail system is horrible. There are about 3000 AV in the north near Sian that will move north and east clearing the way. There are 1700 AV heading northeast toward Ichang. It will take nearly 2 months to get the troops from the center of China near Chungking to the east side of the map near Peiping. Also there is a strong holdout in the center of the continent at Changsha/Wuchang/Hankow.

China will be responsible for besieging Peiping and Tientsin.

Shanghai is 3600AV of piss and vinegar. I have over 5000 AV, most of it 100% prepped for the base. Once Formosa drops I can swing the battleships over and try to cause some disruption before an assault.

During this time I will move troops from Tsingtao over to Korea. I need to be able to put enough force on the beach to not have it immediately in trouble. The troops and tanks from Formosa should be enough for 4000 AV + to do the job. I am guessing 2 weeks to a month to get this operation moving.

The Bear Awakens....

In 2 turns I get my hands on another 28,000AV. JOY!!! I have been planning this for 6 months and it is a pretty pathetic plan given that much time ;]

The move is going to be an encirclement attack on Harbin. Once Harbin is captured then a move on the forests of Korea but that should be mopup as the Americans, Canadians and British will hopefully have taken Southern Korea.

Troops are 100% prepped for their target cities with the exception of the June reinforcements which are at 60%.

Updates on Moscow later.

I just got hit hard at CRB with over 150 fighters. Surprising because the base airfield is almost shut down. I think they came from Singapore, it appears that likely supply has finally caused MrKane to remove the aircraft from the area.

A few days ago Miri stopped responding to daily airfield attacks that had been going on for at least a month if not more.

Back to the Bear Awakening...

It is July 31st and all the good Russians are sound asleep in their beds when the Japanese surprise attack comes. The Russians had about 6 hours sleep left planned before a surprise attack of their own... Oh well.

MrKane bombards the Russian coastline.

Stupid me did not even plan for a surprise attack before my surprise attack. There were some fighters in the air training escort. The fights looked pretty much all like this.

Here is a planning map of the northern part of the Russia Expansion. Substitute August wherever you see July.

On this date I have not been able to fly any recon so I have no real idea of the status of Japanese Armies in Manchuko.

MrKane freaked me out by moving a unit into Tamsag and thus blocking southwest access from the hex. At the time the turn starts the Russians are 300% overstacked and I was worried about some form of attack. Maybe he hoped that I would attack first. The armor left the hex in 1 turn and headed for Hailar. A big stack of Infantry left the stack on turn 2 and headed for Linhst. No air bombardments or attacks ever materialized so I think it may have been just delay.

South side of Russia

Everything is geared to get to and capture Harbin. Armies have been trained for cities in between the start point and Harbin. The remaining armies which is about 1/2 of the total is trained for Harbin. On August 1st all troops were 100% trained for certain locations with the exception of the June reinforcements that were 60% trained on that day.

The soviets have over 28,000 AV available for the assault so even if Japan had everything it could muster it would still be a fight not to mention the troops that are trapped in various locations around the map.
