"Seven Man Army"

This is so absurd and exaggerated that it should be a comedy.

The exaggerated body motion from explosions is worth it alone.

i wanted to reply and add to this, but my post again became a novel, so i just deleted it and thought better of it.

99% of all war films are utter rubbish, unless watching for fun and a laugh, as there's no history, fact's or anything real in almost any of them i'm sorry to say imo.

history is written by the winners, and facts tend to be forgotten and replaced with pure fiction for the most part, regarding films anyway, and some books

That is brilliant!

- loved the formation dancing when shot.
- So its a rule that if behind a load of sandbags, one has to jump over the sandbags in the art of dying?
- The bloke on the tank. What a guy!

Reminds me that:

History is also written by survivors. Germany lost the World Wars, yet that is where All quiet on the western front comes from. Finland lost Winter War & Continuation War (look them up if you don't know) and that hasn't been changed in the films & books that have been made over here (at least in the ones I've seen). Even in one of the more fictionalized novels is said: "We lost Karelia."

Yes that was extremely silly. Tankers are supposed to be buttoned up in a battle.

The tank machine gunner was in a position to see the tank rider easily. Rider must have had applied stealth cream

Do you mean 'The Fighting Seabees' isn't a factual history? I am devastated.

No, dumbass. They are only obliged to fling themselves forward over the sandbags in the art of dying only when one of the ubiquitous stick grenades lands behind them. Did you see any behind the sandbags get shot and flipped forward? Dying per se has nothing to do with it.

Two interesting facts of which I was hitherto unaware spring to mind:

1. I didn't know that Chinese troops were outfitted with 37 cases of 'stick grenades' per soldier.
2. I didn't realize that the Japanese were so outclassed in the Chinese campaign. I appreciate the very realistic depiction of the annihilation of two Japanese battalions and an armored platoon at the expense of only three Chinese soldiers.
