Evacuation of industries when no railroad are available.. (Like my Odessa). Still need Railroad capacity. (And double coast if adjacent to ennemy, so i will not evacuate it).

It is more an exploit than a planned feature in my opinion.

I have run a test.
You can evacuate industries from harbours. However, not from cities connected by an inactive rail with an harbour so it doesn't help at Leningrad.
Does this fit with your experience Stelteck?
I don't consider this to be an exploit. If the red navy can evacuate 10s of thousands of troops, why not key parts of factories? So IMO there is nothing to be fixed.

Yes it is fitting my experience. Not a bug but interesting to know.

I agree it should not be an exploit - but needs to be fixed to not be a rail cap deduction if just port to port

In my game with bigbaba, we're close to the same turn. Leningrad is cut off, but I'm flying in about 300 tons of supplies each week to keep the army fighting.

My bad.

It seems I have forgotten to make a screendump for this.

As I remember, the front in this area does not change significantly during the German phase of turn 28, so you will see it by then (the best I can offer).

Relative to tank production, it is funny that whatever industries you save, you will lack light tanks.

You can save during 1941 all tank production in karkov (T-34) or Leningrad (KV-1), you will still :
- Need tons of light tanks to fill armored divisions, tank brigades and tank support units, with very light production. Nearly zero until the T-60 in october 1941.
- Will not be able to use spare T-34 to fill units. The units will still wait light tanks and stay unready !!!!

I do not think medium tanks can be use to replace light tanks in TOE of units. Maybe they should.

Historically, the Soviets took a while to find out that their light T-60 and T-70 tanks were not able to do anything that the T-34 could not do - and the T-34 could do a lot of stuff the light tanks couldn't do.

I guess production figures and TOE's are set to be historically accurate - and that the soviets did have problems filling out their TOE's in the early war.

Hey! I didn't "INHALE", nor did I have sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky. ;-} Hermann was the one stating he was "Winning!". I'm just trying to give encouragement with "positive" reinforcement.

The T-34 was good BUT the serious lack of radio equipment hampered Soviet tactics for the longest of times.

Great game, very interesting, waiting for the AAR continuation

Unfortunately, many games here end with German players if blitzkrieg does not work out. Unsporting behavior. I hope Mr.Hermann will find the strength and courage to continue the game, even if it becomes clear to him that the victory is unattainable. I want to see the struggle and the natural take of Berlin in the first half of 1944. Good luck to both!

I believe that the German player may have the following, "棺桶に片足を突っ込む" (Hanoke ni kata ashi o tsukkomu) (Figured I have been doing nothing but Japanese language for the last month with my wifes realatives so might as well throw in a Japanese saying :) )

The dealys in the reports are certainly not due to Hermann being late with his turns. In fact, I am the one who has to admit to having some difficulty in meeting the time requirements for playing the game (I have this thing called "Real Life" that keeps getting in the way of my other interests).
