Here's all the invasion TF's and where they are going. Some of them are already there. Some of them are unloading at
their targets. Some of them are loading troops still. It's an ongoing process so far.

I finally received some moves from Brian and I watched the combat replay and was amazed how realistic it is.

Anyway, I'm going through the Tracker alerts and then I decided to take a look at the industry and here's

how it's going right now. There's a box in the lower right that's called "Dry Docks" and I'm not sure what

the box "Dry Docks" is trying to tell me. Anybody got a clue?

Here's the synopsis of the Honsu island group reguarding oil and RES and as you can see the levels are dropping
in the home islands. I've begun shipping all the supplies and fuel that will fit on a ship to the major hubs
so that there might not be a stop to the logistical flow for lack of goodies somewhere. Most of the transports
are only just now arriving at their destinations to pick up the goodies and start the flow. I'll show you a
post about the shipping.

Here's all the dedicated CS routes operating right now. A lot of that Nagasaki traffic is boats leaving Port
Arthur and Keijo with goodies. There's a lot of good stuff inbound to the home islands. And there's manual
traffic in addition to this so it's all good.

I'm doing a cut and paste of the "Human" routes and I've sorted the list on destination and alphabetically and
this list is just up to the letter "M". There's a lot more where this list came from. And I'm thinking that
at least half the ships are completely empty. Deadheading back to the source. I DO carry goodies both ways
on a few of the trips but not many.

Here's the VP's so far. And the ratio. I'm not sure what the Auto Victory conditions are and whether or not
we're close to the trigger.

I finally subdued the Guam garrison and captured the hex. And I made some landings at Makin and the shock attack
captured the place. And some old contested places fell finally.

Resources and Oil back to Home Islands, only. In your initial expansion you need to focus on oil rich bases. If your needing to bring back supplies, then slow down your repairs of facilities. Focus on airframes and engines for '42 in Dec '41. Halt subs that are going to take more than 3 to 4 months to complete to save points there.

I found a gold mine at Port Arthur for oil and RES from there as well. RHS has supplied
all kinds of places to get RES. RES isn't a problem I don't hink.

I need to spend some time with the map to find all the enemy oil centers and task them with
some kind of planned invasion soon. I've already landed at Miri and the troops that finish
off Miri are going to move next door to Brunei to grab that too. I've got big plans for
Palembang and Balikpapan and Tarakan. They are on my list too. I'm willing to forgo any
plans in the South Pacific if I can grab Java early. That would be cool.

It's a good idea, thanks. I haven't yet looked deeply into repairing any facilities. I
thought I'd let the levels stabilize somewhat before I began making a lot of changes.
But it's been three days already and I think the levels are just about as stable as
they are going to get and I can start repairs now. I'm really planning on boosting
the Merch and Nav shipyards so I can accellerate a ship or two. And the repair of
the aircraft factories is a priority. I need to start pumping out airplanes. I started
to say that it almost doesn't matter what kind right now. But I thought twice about that.

I see your point and I agree it's a good one. Look ahead, plan ahead, I like it. I've
given some thought to making only Zero's and Oscars and forget about the other kinds of
fighters. And concentrate on the Betty and Nell and drop all the other kinds of planes.
I'll need Glens of course and spotter planes but I'm talking about the fighters and the
bombers. The less kinds of planes I make the fewer engine types I need make. It's a win-win.

I've already shut off any ship building past about May of '45 and I like the idea of
shutting off the later model subs. I'll never be able to use them to my advantage because
by then ( '43 -'44 ) the Allies will come out with their super-ASW platforms and my subs
will be useless. I get the picture.

There's a situation developing near Truk. An Allied TF is slowly making it's way passing SW of Truk moving
toward Kaiveng and I don't know much about it. It's supposedly a single ship but FOW might be misleading me.
I'm taking no chances and I've tasked an ad hoc TF to chase it. I've got transports in that area and I don't
need the extra hassle and worry this brings.

What kind of ship captain drives his ship into the rocks? The ship was sunk and the captain was lost and good
riddance. I need better captains than that. It must have happened at night or something. I'll send an email.

I found a few RES centers that I can repair and thereby get more RES out of the ground than before. There's a lot
more places yet that have RES centers that can repair but they don't yet have the supply to make the expansion.
As soon as they do I'll bump them too. I thought I'd go through the separate industries and find those places I
can repair right now. Concentrating on RES and OIL and HI.

I beefed up my sweeping squadrons in Malaya and there was a huge furball over Singapore yesterday. Even though my
Zero's were outnumbered they shot down lots of Buffalo planes and I need doing things like this to whittle down
the CAP over Singapore. This kind of thing needs to happen at Manila and Clark too.

I neglected to put the horde at Kota Bharu on DA and they didn't attack but they did get bombarded by the Allies
and that revealed the superiority of the Japs so I really did put them on DA this time so they should attack
tomorrow. I expect the hex to fall this coming turn or the next.

I made the mistake of invading Kuching too early and they went in without escorts and there's all kinds of Allied
LBA within range but they are doing okie dokie so far. The Japs at Kuching attacked but it turns out that I didn't
send quite enough troops and the best I can muster is a 1 : 1 ratio. At least the forts are 0 now.

I wasn't expecting any mines at Cebu and drove my sub in there and it hit a mine and sank. My fault. There's no
way to detect mines other than driving a ship in there though. I always try to make it a cheap ship.

I got lucky yesterday. An Allied sub, the Pompaneou or something or other, launched 4 TT's at my ships and didn't
hit any. Or maybe hit but it didn't explode. At any rate I'm sure he's going to try it again so I'll have to
find another spot to loiter. I've already fueled up the carriers so there's no good reason to stay there anyway.

I drove a sub into Hilo's harbor and the I-1 launched 4 TT's and missed an AVD. D'oh. I might need to replace
that ship captain. I'll have a look at him. I donno, he looks okay. Just a fluke.

There were three separate encounters by my SCTF and Brian's. Both task forces broke off before combat but
there it is. Combat on the river waters. I'm going to see if I can't get my planes to target those ships.

IJN airframes for ‘42 - Zero, Rufe, Nell (not Betty) as 2nd gen have better range, Nell Recon (love their range😁), Emily, and 6 to 8 George factories on 1st model.

IJA - Tojo, Lily, and Helen. You need the Tojo until Franks. Helens are great once you get them. Lily should come in as DBs later.

The I-2 is a sub operating near Pearl and yesterday he got TT hits on an xAPc ship and it's on the sunk ships list.

Amphib TFs vs CD guns: Those Dutch CD guns can be nasty! Form TF and only load troops, no extra supplies. Form another small Amphib TF and load supplies. Merge. Add a pair of BBs to soak up hits. If possible, take Ship Eng (Naval Support) to speed up unloading.

Here's how the ports are doing right now. I made the mistake of loading supplies with the troops and ran Shanghi
out of supplies. I've got TF's carrying some to Shanghi but it's going to be a couple of days until it gets there.
Meanwhile Pescadores is running low on supplies. I must have a TF there that's loading supplies too.

I've revamped the aircraft factories more along the lines of Michael's advice. I don't know half the models that
are available. There's some more changes needed yet I'm guessing. More George's and Nell's.

I like the idea of different missions for the TF's. I'm wondering why you need to merge them. Can
you not let one follow the other?

I had thought about the BB's before but I never thought to take some shipping engineers along too.
Great idea. I'll see if I can't find some.

I was looking around for shipping engineers ( I found one at Hiroshima, it's moving to Tokyo now ) and I found
Kwajalien was overstuffed with troops. From the beginning of the game and I'm only finding it now. Well, I need
to get some ships together and move somebody obviously. Maybe for Rabaul.
