Hello guys,

In the attached save, sub SSN 645 USS James K. Polk. (really any sub in this save) The presets dont send the sub to the right depth. Selecting surface, periscope depth or shallow keeps the depth at -131. selecting over the layer keeps the depth at -98.

The slider bar works as designed and I can manually control depth this way OK.

Didnt know if this is a known issue or not.

Dannyp19,

Likely a simple fix. Check the doctrine settings for the sub. "Dive when threat is detected" is set to "Yes, on ESM detection and threat proximity". This setting will override a manual choice. Turn the setting to "No" and that should (probably) fix the issue.

Thanks Wayne that was the problem. I had totally forgotten about ASW Doctrines. Sorry to waste your time.
