Actually the allied "totals" add to 2059 if you read the column to the bottom.
And, as I mentioned, some allied types are not included in that list - as examples:

The Dutch planes, many of the British - Hurricanes, Swordfish, Albacore, some Blenheims - B-17D, P-40B, B-18, TBD, Kingfisher, Helldiver and a few others.
