Just came across this thread.

I have the original discs for TOP2; Panthers in the Shadows; Dragons in the Mist and Broken Alliance. I also have the Map Builder utility.

While reasonably computer literate, I do not have Drop Box (but could do the free trial). I have just recovered TOP2 and Panthers from Carbonite - just under 7 Megs each. Will have to look on an old back up drive for BA and Dragons; I think that both are stand alone. I am presuming that Rich and Scott have no objections to the Expansion Discs.

Perhaps one of the Smart Guys (tm) could guide me through this.

Am not on the computer during the week, but will return next weekend.

I have both POA2 and Tigers Unleashed; but still enjoyed the DOS games about four years ago.

Very good to hear that you want to share the files.

I think that the easiest method is dropbox. You get a few 100mb for free.

You need to upload the files to the public folder of your dropbox account. After that you can generate the link and copy it in the message here on the forum.

I only use dropbox in the web browser. I never used the dropbox app you get with your Windows 10 installment.

Hello,

I just had contact with someone who has dragons in the mist and broken alliance. I assumed that only the campaign disks are allowed for distribution. Is it also allowed to distribute the Dragon in the mist and broken alliance game executables?

Status: offline 		Thank you for your effort!! There is only a small (last?) problem: the second link opens my Dropbox. The key error is that the link points to the "home" Dropbox - yours in your case, mine in my.

Could you just move Dragons along with the other games in the first link? It works fine.

Thank you again! And Scott should consider a more modern version of these games - a better UI and modern graphics (but still on the "simple" side) would suffice. They are classics.

It worked! I have already installed the game under DOSBox.

Today I officially finished a quest started in 1995! I can't wait to prowl in the jungles of the PTO using this system.

Status: offline 		thanks everyone on this thread, sorry i have been away from thi sforum and forgot about this thread. thanks for the uploads of what possibly may be some new scenarios for tops/pits! as for those expansion disks, it feels to me that they are lost now for good sadly

another game which is in this same family is Point of Attack 1 - I got a boxed copy of this a while back, its very similar to TOPS but for the modern setting, were there ever any expansions for it?

Status: offline 		i already enquired about these years ago and i am sure i have mentioned in a thread in these forums before too even - all the campaign disks were lost years ago, - weill teh files were (iirc the HDs containing the campaign content was lost/destroyed somewhere along the line)

Status: offline 		You threw it in the trash - very sad, i guess there was a time in the late 90s and early 00s when i also disposed of some boxed games which now would fetch quite a price in the collector market.

I do have a boxed copy of Panthers in the Shadows and a scanner so when i get some time - perhaps tomorrow, and if i remember - remind me if i dont post tomorrow, i will scan them in and upload it
