Declaration of War. Feigning outrage over the torpedoing of the US Wasp by a German u-boat, President Roosevelt once again goes to the US congress to declare war but this time on Germany and Italy. Like the resolution against Japan, this one passes on the slimiest of margins (both with rolls of 7 against 70% chance of succeeding). The slim margin was a result of some accusing the President and his administration of fighting an undeclared war at sea against Germany and Italy. Though, none of that matters now. The US is (finally) at war with the three axis powers.

Alignments. The US aligns Mexico, and last allied impulse they aligned Panama.

Actions. USA - combine, Great Britain - combine, Free France - combine, China - land, USSR - land.

USN & RN Naval Moves.

1. Note the long and curious route that the India RP is travelling to get to a Soviet Factory. The USN puts a stop to this ridiculous route by using 1 of their 3 naval moves to return the CP in the South China Sea back to base. This also has the advantage of removing the -1 search roll modifier for Japan during all weather except storms and blizzards. Though, currently storms are raging in the South China Sea so no search roll modifier would apply regardless of the presence of US convoys.

2. The US use their 2nd naval move to move 3 CP's into the North Atlantic and their 3rd to move a CP into the Caribbean.

3. Great Britain only use 1 of their 2 naval moves and that's to move 2 CP's from Aden into the Arabian Sea.

4. All these moves give the Western Allies full production.

IJN. Guam. The 3rd SNLF marine division has been waiting around on Rota and ready for the word from the Japanese high command to capture Guam. When this oversight was final realized and the offending admiral talked out of Skeppuku, the 3rd was given the go to take Guam.

Both Germany and Italy take a combine. Germany uses the combine to move 2 u-boat flotillas based in Kiel. One is move to the Faeroes Gap and the other to the North Atlantic. The Italians, who don't have any units to move, use the combine to initiate in sea areas where Italian sub flotillas area already operating.

Euro-Axis Subs. Cape St. Vincent. All the axis sub attacks this turn by Germany, Italy and Japan have made a shambles of the allied convoy routes, Great Britain and USSR production. The allies do hope for another impulse, not only to get all this as right as possible but for the US marines to march into and take Rabul.

But, before all that, there's a couple more sea areas that the Western Allies need to fend off German u-boats and Italian submarines.
