Japan. Land Combat. Singapore. In typical Imperial IJA / IJN fashion, the Japanese attack Singapore on a 50/50 shot to take the city/fort. Actually, this is a wise decision as an Australian infantry corps (7-3, elite) on US transport off Cape Naturaliste, Australia would have reinforced Singapore (i.e., RTB to Singapore next impulse). Thus, making Singapore near impossible for the Japanese to take.

Though, none of that matters as Japan successfully assaults and captures Singapore.

The Eastern Front. Army Groups South & Caucuses. Ground Strike & Land Combat. The Soviet's do all they can to try to win this battle and hold this key hex. They don't and now their entire Caspian Sea Front is tittering on the verge of total collapse.

Also, Germany just needs two more German corps on the Turkish border to align Turkey as a align.

The Mediterranean Front. Germany and her Italian and Vichy allies rush reinforcements into Southern France to contain the allied invasion there. Note that there are, or will be, a total of 5 axis HQ units arrayed against the Western Allies in Vichy Southern France.

End of Turn. Germany, and even Japan, would benefit if the turn ended and they got the initiative next turn. The allies would like this turn to continue one more impulse (their impulse) and then end.

End of Turn. Much to the dismay of the allies, this turn ends.

The allies still hold a +2 advantage for the initiative. However, the axis win ties.

Both sides will want to move first; however, only the allies if necessary can request a re-roll and rest assured they will if they lose the first roll for next turn's initiative.
