On what ship will France put the next, A, result?

And if any French ships remain at the end of the combat round, will France stay?

And to what port will France send the aborted ships?

The US are shocked that Denmark is drawn into the war, and demand that the Danish neutrality should be respected. (1 rolled and 1 US entry chit added)

The news that Italy entered the war is drowned out in the noise created by the German aggression on Denmark. (8 rolled and no US entry chit)

Italy call out their reserves.

Denmark place most of their CPs in the Faeroes (5). Their remaining fleet is placed in Frederikshavn.

Germany send one old BB, and 4 CPs, to the Baltic Sea.
One Italian cruiser squadron sail to the 4-box in the Easte Mediterranean.

Edit: Forgot to mention that one of the cruisers is loaded with a division.

No combat in CSV. Axis rolled 4, and Axis 10. If Italy rolled one lower instead, then the CW CPs had been slaughtered. Sometimes a tiny difference in the die roll can make a huge difference.

Not that I am complaining.

Next up is the West Med where the FTR2 initiate combat and the SUB is included.

Axis rolls a 4 and just finds. It doesn't help the CW CP that they roll a 1. It is lost.

And once again the difference between success is minimal. However, here the damage potential was minimal as well.

I must say that it is more fun to have the surprise, rather than being surprised. It feels like it was a long time since I was on the surprising side. Albeit feelings can not always be trusted.
