No partisans

USSR puts marker to defence.

US put marker in Ja pool.

The Bearn is interned by the US for refit as a USN CV. The Germans and Italians get the most upset (3 rolled, chit to Ge/It tension pool).

It'll have to be Assault as no retreat path.
warspite1

Sorry, until I understand the rule I will have to keep asking .

A unit can not retreat into an impassible hex, across an impassible hexside, onto an enemy unit, or into a vacant hex that has an enemy ZOC exerted into it.

Also, if it retreats into an overstack, it must continue retreating not into a hex it has retreated from. If there is no hex it can retreat to after a chain of retreats, it is destroyed.
warspite1

Okay thanks the two bits in bold is what confused me. But I get it now. The overstack presumably can be any length but needs to end not in ZOC.

Yes about the any length. It can only end in an enemy ZOC if there is a friendly unit there already. Can't go to a vacant hex in an enemy ZOC.

One thing I forgot: If a hex is going to be attacked later in the combat phase, retreating into it has the same effect as retreating into an overstack. A unit may do so, but must continue retreating.

I deliberately did not discuss retreat priorities, because these never affect whether a unit survives -- if it can survive, it will. The retreat priorities only affect which hex a unit winds up in.

This may take a while. I got the Allied trade and production all set up then when I went to Finalize Production MWiF decided to overwrite some of my default routes and idle the Canadian oil being sent to France despite spare CP points being available. In Final Production, it wouldn't let me reset the oil and put in the route.

Going to have to go back to square one and see if I can get it to work another way but can't be bothered now as it took a lot of work to get it set in the first place!

Okay, think I found where the problem may have occurred.

At the Stay at Sea phase, MWiF had set 3 CW CP's to green for RTB and these had to be reset to stay. It took me two run through's to identify these, which is frustrating. When I went onto Production Planning at the Stay at Sea stage, after resetting them, I saw the same carnage as I found at finalise production. Fortunately, I could change things back to how they should have been and the changes then stuck through to Finalise Production.

Steve, please can you disable whatever function it is that automatically puts some CP's as green for RTB so that the player has to find them and reset them to stay. Once placed I would prefer all CP's to stay that way and it's up to me to change this. If I forget, that's my problem. The feature doesn't seem to add in any value and is actually menace as it seems to disrupt what was set at Preliminary Production.

Apologies for the delay. I'd forgotten it was the Allies move. Now, if I could just remember what it was that was vital enough for me to go for the re-roll .
