A small invasion of Sorong was repulsed, and the Boela invasion force won't make the April 1st deadline...should I land anyway. They aren't prepped at all...so I think I have to pull back.

I'm enjoying your AAR quite a bit. Games against the AI usually don't interest me, but your combination of a controlled offensive, not wanting to break the AI, and a beefed up Allied side that keeps giving surprises is really interesting. Thanks for the efforts.

Boela force lands, Chokai diverts from riding protection on Kagi to sink another Q boat. If those Seacats were set to strafing naval attacks it would have been goodbye Kagi!

Palembang & Java

Will leave the Allied air concentration alone for now...sad to see this. Must be total chaos in Allied High Command.

APDs, Destroyers, Cruisers are planning on carrying out fast transport missions here, but first I gotta get Rabaul Operational. Long Range CAP from the size 2 runway at Manus plus lots of engineers are slowly repairing the fields. Meanwhile the troops prepare for their invasions...

Carrier Division 5 is at Truk, lots of troops at Ponape.

Rufe starts production, but because I am not resizing air groups, the squadrons will be small: 9,6, and 3 to start are all that are available to start with.

Nick will arrive this month, in about 7 days. This will give Japan some anti bomber defense. These guys will be a big boon! I wonder if they have a chance at shooting down the Brigands?

Good job with Palembang … 131 damaged is in the very good range for me. 4 months to repair, not bad.

I was trying to let this Allied fleet escape, but it isn't going anywhere. I think it picked up refugees that retreated from Manado to the southwest.

Nick A will start production tomorrow. Will re-assign three factories to the A6M3, and leave two factories in production for now. No plans on r&d any other Nick.

Landings on Java secured, more landings on southern Luzon. 1st Attack on Clark AFB almost ready.
