Hi. The benchmark I used for reaching victory was stopping the growth of the heavy bomber force. The Allies get @30 B17/24 a day replacements so losses in excess of 30 a day are required. At present you are managing this. Initial forces are around 1,000 'heavies'. However it will not get easier. If your rate of victories continues, the weather will get in the way and present an almost no-fly December, allowing an uninterrupted reinforcement of @1,000 heavies to the BG. Plus, when the weather clears, the better P-47 and new P-51 will be a much more dangerous proposition. But your biggest danger is your wastage of pilots. Come January, the new LW pilots start to show a decrease in skills which will result in fewer damaged/shot down aircraft and yet more losses to the USAAF fighters. You seem to be throwing everything into the air and losses on IAR, DE, outclassed and obsolete aircraft are almost criminal. You need to get those units with G6 asap but your losses in that type are also approaching the number produced. Choose your places to attack with more aircraft(and better) and get a better kill ratio. However a lot of this is for use in the future as you need to be on the latest patch. Have you upgraded before starting this campaign? A new patch is due very soon with revised Allied AI, restrictions/removal of some glitches that allowed Axis planes some cheats/impossible functions and a far superior weather system. Keep watching the forum. I am also waiting to start a new LW campaign when this is released. Mark.
