Hi,

Do you guys have any plans for making this available on any of the above platforms? I have tried to search for it but I can't seem to find it anywhere!

I don't think you'll find it anywhere other than on Matrix.

Unsure about future plans, as I know other Matrix (or at least Slitherine) titles are on Steam. Shadow Empires and War in the West are both there.

This is better than Steam.

Not sure what could possibly make you think that, given that the Steam environment is about twenty years ahead of the Matrix system...

As well as their Warhammer 40K game, IIRC. Or is that on mobile? I forget.

Much, much better. I avoid Steam if at all possible. It's just another layer of useless software.

It depends on whether you have a use for it.

Having changed computers twice since having Steam, it is very useful just for that alone - ease of transfer of saved games and installations. Mods are kind of annoying to make sure you transfer the same ones, but it's easier than the manual install alternative.

Also, if you routinely play games with other people, the quick-invite function really has no substitute - and it absolutely works better than the old school game lobbies, LAN lobbies, or TCP/IP joining. The headaches that I had 20 years ago while trying to LAN or join by direct IP.... Steam saves you all of that.

What is steam? Some sort of cloud thing you can't access in offline mode?

Steam is those white fluffy things that becomes visible when you press the 'K' key.

Also: psychic energy/souls. Pain and fear make it taste better.

Steam is a company that sells games online that you have to load from their site everytime that you want to play. Their program on your computer needs to update and apparently needs to do so frequently. Mine won't do the update. It crashes when it tries to do the update and says that I need to be online.

I play while offline frequently. If there is a game that requires you to be online for DRM (digital rights management) purposes, it is that game developer's fault, not Steam's.

Steam is a little bird tweeting in a meadow.

Steam is a wreath of pretty little flowers, which smell bad.

I've lost track of the number of times Steam has locked me out of my one Steam purchase because my password was suddenly no longer valid.

Steam blows.
