There is a possibility (not a certainty) of taking damage, and I believe it can happen even in contested waters (where you don’t have a positive 2 naval interdiction value), it’s just less likely.

yeah but in the pic HLYA posted, with those interdiction numbers (3 and 4 to 0). you are probably going to get sunk ships very often.
