there are a number of things you can do.

1) at the simplest, reset it to a normal (or even a mild) winter
2) alter the prevailing weather chart
3) alter the interaction between a front type and prevailing weather to affect what happens on the map

What you can't do (I believe):

1) remove the rules for attrition etc, but of course if you make the winter weather less harsh this will have a secondary effect
2) impose a fixed pattern of outcomes
3) remove the time limited effects such as the axis truck/rail costs before April 42.

aye, technically that is not a winter rule but a June 41-April 42 rule, just that deep snow/blizzards makes it even worse but the core problem is a hard wired hit on your logistics system

I think one of the hard to answer questions is what line works for your winter defense. My feeling is if you stay broadly within the supply net you are also too far west, so there is somewhere that accepts a stressed logistic system but at the same time places you well for 1942 (with obv the variable of how strong the Red Army still is to feed in). No idea how to solve this at the moment, but doing a fair bit of experimenting and keep a close eye on those AARs that report the winter period

again thank you
I supposed one work around would be to play with the weather another would be to play with the pre setup numbers.. give and take to help the situation ie morale etc ...

Its a what if I would like to pursue
