How much damage are you doing? Those long ranged Nells should be great for this. A resource center all alone can yield just as many points as a major industrial base but should have a lot less protection.

Not too much so far Coal harbour has bin sound for attack's from air Alliford recently just reached level the level of being useful when his carrier's and other ships showed up. With KB arriving in the area bombing the USA will commence in April and continue for a long time my main concern is his carrier's I hope he show's them soon again but I highly doubt he will until I reveal KB

I'm in a current predicament

at Seattle, there is at least one carrier there with that BB taskforce

Actually, the bomber group I'm using for naval search doesn't have the greatest search skill there is one of the starting groups of g4m1's anyway's can a pilot misidentify planes in a task force, or does that guarantee there is at least a carrier there?

if that is true then there is a carrier there and BBs if not it's just BB's. Is it worth risking KB planes for this action? and showing my card's atm he has no idea where KB is I am the same about his carrier's no idea. I do have a suspicion he might have them going to India to duel Mini KB or heading to Sopac to lead an invasion down there not too sure yet. Give me ideas or thoughts on what I should do.

No way there are that many carriers there. The plane count covers one and some float planes on cruisers or BBs. These are likely the ships that raided the Gulf of Alaska recently.

What you did wrong was a naval search to find TFs in port but no RECON of the port. You should fear LBA as you approach. He will have a lot of it in the area because of your invasions further north, and he may have had SigInt on your invasion preps for Portland or wherever you are headed for. "Do you feel lucky?"

If you are saying you did Recon Seattle, you should have specified what you found. You should also have said whether you are looking for a KB clash with Allied TFs or just supporting the invasion.

Your posted map shows what appears to be an Amphib Invasion and KB covering it. You have not said where the invasion is going so we must guess Portland based on position. So your post question about the makeup of the Allied TFs indicates you are worried about something bad happening.

What might your worry be? A losing clash of KB vs those TFs alone? What about LBA, did you consider them? What about other Allied strength in the area that could affect your landing plans? CD guns? Mines? LCUs at the invasion point or very nearby?

Based on your initial question and situation presentation it is unclear what you know and what you do not so I mentioned Recon of Seattle for LBA.

Once again you did not make clear your intentions so it leaves us guessing about what you need to know.

My bad it was a supply convoy I was escorting. wanted to see if it was worth sending KB after the ships that were spotted or not I didn't I'm going to update my AAR tomorrow as it was a busy day for me. Sorry for not being transparent enough and I'll try and give better details on images I post at later dates thanks for the input.

Ships were spotted at San Fran KB was going to do a hit and run but the storm's over the base denied me so KB will retire out of the area so close to the American coast and with his carrier's possibly nearby I'm going to gather Mini KB and such at Tokyo and sortie out by then the A6M5 will be in production and I should have enough airwing's for a few of my group's.
