I was playing Burma 42 as Imperial Japan (against AI). Game ended after turn 3 with Japan significant victory. Save game attached. Can anyone tell me what happened to cause it to end so early?

I played with all game options on except high supply and trusted PBEM.

<EVENT ID="26" TRIGGER="Turn" EFFECT="End normal" TURN="29" VARIABLE="1" NEWS="Exhaustion on both sides forces end of Cannibal."/>
<EVENT ID="27" TRIGGER="1 occupies" EFFECT="End victory 1" X="13" Y="27" NEWS=" Cannibal succeeds as Akyab falls. Irwin knighted!"/>
<EVENT ID="28" TRIGGER="2 occupies" EFFECT="End victory 2" X="4" NEWS="Cannibal fails miserably. Roga promoted!"/>
<EVENT ID="29" TRIGGER="2 occupies" EFFECT="End victory 2" X="7" NEWS="Cannibal fails miserably. Roga promoted!"/>

The last two events in the list are broken. There is no "Y" component for the "1[/2] occupies" verb. So if the appropriate side has a unit that happens to end up in a hex where X=4 or x=7 then the game ends. You may want to fix those events [ or maybe delete them ] and try it then.

Here below I have attached a version of the Burma scenario without the broken events. See if that works for you.

I googled "free military gifs" and of the hits I got "https://giphy.com/explore/military" which has all kinds of gifs of military situations. No context is supplied with these images, so you have to make up your own I suppose. The gif in particular that you ask about is probably some kind of air strike or helicopter strike in some war zone somewhere. Maybe Afganistan? I'm just as in the dark as the rest of us.
